The freedom to make my own work hours.

Daily commuting was always an issue for me. I’ve had to let go of prospective opportunities because of their distance from my residence. I don’t have to bother about commuting to work anymore.

The work culture here is so positive! People are always lending each other a helping hand and the management is also very encouraging.

Hi, I’m from India and I’m part of the content team with Turing.com.
To be honest, I’m not a fan of a regular job. In my previous workplace, I was always traveling and doing most of my work remotely. I believe traveling teaches you a lot, and if you can somehow find a perfect mix of both work and travel at the one time, that’s a heavenly match!
I wasn’t very sure about Turing initially. I only explored their website, followed their social media handles, and read some positive as well as not-so-positive reviews about the company. But like they say, never judge a book by its cover. And that’s what I did! I followed my intuition and now I’m working with the most amazing people across the globe.
The best thing about working at the Turing company is that people here appreciate your work. Even if you make some mistakes, they’re always there to help you out, so you never feel left out.
So far, I’m enjoying working at Turing. I’m part of one of the most critical teams of the organization i.e. content team. I have the coolest mentors who never lose their calm. They have been guiding me through the process and getting me familiar with all the dos and don'ts.
The best thing about working at Turing is now I don’t have to encounter unnecessary stress, or bear futile traveling expenses, and also don’t have to expose myself to pollution.

I’m a Content Specialist at Turing.com. My work is to guide and develop the content creation process and strategies to effectively reach the desired audience.
Turing operates remotely round the world, therefore I don’t have to worry about non-remote job issues anymore.
The biggest hassle of working in a non-remote job in my country is commuting. It adds extra hours to your schedule due to the terrible traffic condition. When working at an office, you pay for the costs of commuting and also tend to spend on coffee or snacks for the dreadful "road trip".

Working with the Turing company has many benefits:

I connect with new developers who are in the trial period to check if they are settling down well or not.

To check if they are getting all the necessary support from the Turing team and the client to make their trial period smooth.

I also have to find out if the developers are facing any challenges, and of course mainly if they like their new project.

I’m also involved with the Hiring Operations at the Turing company in interview scheduling, briefing, and preparation process.

I make sure that the developer is well aware of the client’s profile, share interview-related tips, and recall them about the basic online interview etiquettes.

Sharing responsibility and giving freedom to perform our tasks in our best way are things that I love the most about Turing.

Remote work is a blessing at any given time, especially during this pandemic situation. Here are a few things I love about remote work.
Traveling and commuting is a major problem in my city. Traffic and public transport system are not so good, so people have to drive for hours to get to the office and back home. With remote work, I don’t have to travel anymore.
No more hygiene or sanitization related issues since we’re working from home
Flexible working hours. Can start and complete my work anytime.
And the best thing is that we get to eat freshly cooked meals with our dear ones at home.

Hi, I’m from Pakistan and I’m a Data Scientist at Turing.com. My job at Turing is to optimize & streamline the vetting process for developers and hiring entities.

Apart from Data Science, I’ve recently started focussing on the sales funnel with occasional insights and analyses for the supply ops.

As far as my Turing review is concerned, I enjoy the diversified, startuppy environment at Turing, apart from all the fast learning opportunities. However, my main driving force is remote work. I even worked for 6 months remotely before joining Turing. I find myself very much compatible with a remote and flexible working environment.

The city which I come from has a major traffic problem. During office hours, the traffic situation gets even worse. With the hot whether, it becomes really hard to commute in summer times.

Although, there’s no shortage of regular jobs here, finding jobs in the Data Science sectors is not an easy thing. As I am a Data Scientist, I hardly find any options here tho the situation might be different for devs working in other areas.

I am a Turing.com Technical Recruiter. I conduct live coding, fast track interviews for the Turing developer candidates and update the result for next steps. I enjoy the flexible and at most work life balance. This is a very good company to work full time remote. No politics, ethical environment and lots of encouragement from team members. My team is placed across the world and is a very talented team, happy to work with them. I’m interacting and finding world’s top talent on daily basis and building boundary less network.

My role mainly requires me to write blogs, work on scripts for videos and conduct interviews. The best part about Turing is the flexibility it provides with time and the fact that I do not have to step out for work. I save a lot of time that would otherwise go in commute and utilize that in taking time out for myself and my hobbies. One thing that really troubled me in a non-remote job was the fact that I had to get up at least about a couple of hours before the office would begin to get ready and leave for work. At times, it would take about an hour to book an Uber due to the surge in demand for a cab in the early hours of the day. Traffic was another issue. Other than that, the flexibility of time was also a problem. I would not get time to work on my hobbies or skill-sets. Turing has helped me overcome these issues. The flexibility it provides has helped me manage my time better. Working remote has always been a dream, and now that I can work from anywhere, I'd rather work from a hill station than from a cubicle. Honestly, if you're super skilled in your field of work, there is nothing else you need to worry about. In fact, once you join the organization, you are going to have a lot of fun (apart from work, of course)!

I work as an onboarding/matching specialist (i.e. help onboard and match Turing developers) at Turing.com. The flexibility, the privilege not to commute to work is great. You don't have to worry about questions like Why don't I have any free time for myself? What will I cook for my family today? When will I have time to wash clothes or tide the house? The ability not to commute gave me extra time for all those things. But also to be more with my family. I bet everyone can also find few more advantages to this. I was introduced to Turing through a friend who sang praises about their remote work culture. Now I’m writing this during the infamous 2020-21 pandemic where the world was forced to go remote.
