Extremely disappointing and stressful experience

Extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Tumbledry.

I contacted customer care for steam ironing of 9 curtains with lining and was quoted Rs 1,350 after discount. Based on this, I booked a pickup.

The first staff member from the Arjun Nagar branch entered my home, started removing curtains, and midway began shouting that removing/hanging curtains was “not his job.” This was never communicated earlier. His behaviour became so aggressive and unprofessional that I had to ask him to leave immediately.

Two days later, another team picked up the curtains saying an estimate would be shared later. Instead, I suddenly received an invoice for dry cleaning. After repeated calls to customer care, the invoice was changed to steam ironing — but the amount had now jumped to Rs 3,276 for curtains WITHOUT lining, almost 3 times the original quotation.

When I asked to cancel, I was told the curtains had already been sent to the Noida processing plant without my approval, leaving me with no option but to proceed.

The curtains were returned with visible smudges and poor finishing. Four curtains had to be sent back again. One curtain also came back damaged after reprocessing.

To make matters worse, instead of resolving the issue professionally, I received repeated calls from the plant denying responsibility.

This entire experience involved:

Misquotation
Aggressive staff behaviour
Unauthorized processing
Inflated billing
Poor cleaning quality
Curtain damage
Extremely poor customer handling

The matter is STILL unresolved.

I would strongly advise people to think carefully before using Tumbledry services.

Disappointed with the service at Tumble…

Disappointed with the service at Tumble Dry,
Manacaud, especially as I am a regular customer since they opened. This is the second time I am not satisfied with their service.
They charge high prices for stain removal and dry cleaning but provide no guarantee or proper assurance. My white pant got stained, and I approached them immediately. Normally, timely treatment helps remove stains, but in my case there was no improvement at all.
Despite this, I was asked to pay the full service cost without any proper treatment or responsibility. The service quality does not justify the price.

Worst in the business

Sion- Mumbai branch .They ruined my leather jacket worth 20k. No accountability, No one reverts for a resolution. They are utterly shameless and unethical. This laundry is a scam. They dont even respond to consumer court.

Extremely pathetic service by tumbledry

i Had given my curtains for drycleaning on 6th oct 2025 to tumbledry, sector 4 vaishali ghaziabad store, did not recieve them in time, and when recieved after delay, they were wet and badly damaged beyond repairs, had black & brown stains all over , with innumerable bleach spots and threads in self design broken. After raising the issue, the curtains were sent for reprocessing, and when recieved, again after a lot of delay, were in worst condition with moisture in curtains, stains intact, no cleaning done on back side, threads broken, curtains were badly worn off as if some harsh chemical was used, color of curtains all faded along with patches all over. Despite such a blunder and actively raising the issue, no communication or constructive response from tumbledry team. I have been writing everyday to Tumbledry team including to promoters Mr Navin Chawla & Me Gaurav Nigam, however there was no response on any emails except a standard response received after sending multiple emails and a phone call from escalation team explaining they did not repsond to my emails bcoz their email is not working due to technical issues, who will believe this ?? Tumbledry team does not even respond to messages or calls on official whatsapp number given by their escalation team executive. Seems they deliberately choose to not reply to any emails, messages and calls as a 'time pass strategy' so that someday the customer will be tired of contacting them and will quit. Extremely pathetic services, very very bad experience, no support at all from tumbledry team, they are good at only one thing that is causing mental stress to customers and damaging customer's property beyond repair. i really wish there was an option of giving zero star to tumbledry!!!

Worst services..

Worst services... Liars.!

They took my sheer curtains, tore them during processing, and then had the audacity to claim the damage existed before I handed them over—a blatant lie, since I personally checked them myself. The lie fell apart when, without informing me, they went ahead and washed the curtains.

And now they try to hide behind CCTV and nonsense claims. If the damage really existed beforehand, why didn’t they ask permission before washing? That proves it happened while processing.

To top it off, the escalation team is just another piece of worthless bureaucracy—utterly useless. Completely unacceptable.
