One of the best experience I ever had

Possible one of the best-organized places ever! Everything went incredibly smooth, from the pre-arrival communication, the driving lessons and handover of the Tuktuk, to the return of the Tuktuk 3 weeks later. Whenever we had questions along the way, there was always somebody that we could easily reach who help us out right away. They really have it figured out how to provide the best experience: a WhatsApp group to connect with other (current) Tuktuk rental travellers and a Google Maps collection of recommended place were some of the ways to make our trip even easier.
Sri Lanka is possibly the best country for such an adventure: helpful locals everywhere, beautiful and diverse landscapes and driving conditions somewhere between smooth and adventurous.

Really great experience overall for our family of 6! We enjoyed the freedom of being able to travel at our own pace and being able to stop wherever we could. The company is wel organized and very helpful in case of problems. Would recommend it to anyone!!!

We hired a tuktuk for 3 weeks and just loved it. We received a detailed briefing in advance, in which everything was explained and shown to us. After the driving lesson we stowed our luggage and then our tuktuk adventure started. We were in the mountains, on the east and south coasts and would never have been able to explore everything so flexibly and relaxed without our tuktuk. The driving itself was super easy. So don't be afraid of the technology. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience to travel around Sri Lanka by tuk tuk and to explore the country in this way. The support from Tuktukrental was just great. Shehara and Angela are incredibly welcoming and were always there for us. Thanks to the incredible support from Tuktukrental and the community, we never had any problems with the fuel supply. We wholeheartedly recommend everyone to travel this way and can't wait to come back. Until next time!

I have recently returned from Sri Lanka and hired a Tuk Tuk which was an excellent way to get around.

Tuk Tuk Rental were absolutely superb, all the way from organising the international licence to even arranging for the Tuk Tuk delivery in Galle. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all communication was very clear and concise. The driver who delivered the Tuk Tuk gave a thorough run through and an excellent instructor on how to drive the Tuk Tuk.

I would highly recommend getting into contact with them if you planning on renting one on your next holiday.

The service from tuktuk rental was exceptional. They are so professional, organised, friendly and helpful. It's honestly one of the most efficiently run businesses I've ever come across. The experience was unforgettable and undoubtedly the best way to see Sri Lanka. I went on my own with my 2 young boys and felt very reassured and secure by booking through such a professional outlet. To travel at you own pace, go off the beaten track and see elephants, snakes, Iguana at the side of the road, blew my kids minds. What a great education. We have memories to last a lifetime. We had booked and paid for a tuk tuk for 76 days to adventure around Sri Lanka. We spent a month touring Sri Lanka before we had to cancel our trip early due to the corona virus. Travelling the south coast of Sri Lanka in a tuk tuk was SO much fun, it gave us freedom and allowed us opportunities to see sights and meet people we otherwise wouldn't have. As the corona virus became worse and governments around the world were telling people to return to their home countries Tuktuk rental provided up-to date, relevant and timely information on the current situation in Sri Lanka. They provided non-biased, loving and caring advice through a group whatsapp. It was comforting to speak with other travellers in the same situation as well as have insight from people who ran the company and live in Sri Lanka at such uncertain times. When we returned our tuktuk to the office headquarters during an island wide lockdown we felt safe knowing someone would be there expecting and waiting for us. Tom and his team provided professional support during a crisis and for this we are very grateful. I am especially grateful for the refund we received in a timely manner for the days we were not able to use that we had booked for. I have no hesitation in recommending this company or this experience. I can't wait to come back one day and finish this trip soon.

(30 day rental period - Sri Lanka) I have been traveling extensively for over six years and I can say, without a doubt, that the people at tuktukrentals.com were the most professional and supportive that I have experienced when dealing with a tourism-related company. I was 100% satisfied with the license issuing service they provide - some may opt to do it themselves on the cheap, however taking into account logistics and the value of avoiding potential hassles it is well worth the small fee. The resources they provide before you even begin are comprehensive and well thought out. The team utilizes WhatsApp well - keeping and moderating an active customer group as well as constantly monitoring a support number where I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response . Messages are sent to you every few days to make sure you are OK and remind you of any maintenance steps you should be taking at that point in your journey. I saw a handful of the rentals that they provided and the conditions vary. Some look brand new - mine certainly had some love put into it over the years, however this had little impact in the long-run. The rare mechanical issue is quickly and fairly taken care of and covered in your price - they are simple machines and most items can be fixed within an hour (and their team will help you with every step of the process.) Before committing, I corresponded with their team for over a week going over the details of my trip and making sure I understood everything. Comprehensive responses came quickly and professionally - never did it seem as though my amount of questions were an annoyance. Shehara is a rockstar! The lion share of replies came from her and the support she provided before and during the trip was absolutely amazing (not to discount the rest of the team! There was never a time I called during the trip where I felt I wasn’t a priority.) The drop-off procedure is quick and straightforward. I am often skeptical about damage assessments with vehicles rented in other countries when a deposit is left, taking plenty of photos before I begin. It was totally unnecessary here - the vehicle check was professional and fair and the deposit was returned in a few days. I left a completely satisfied customer.
