Flight anxiety improved by far!
I suffer from a very sudden but intense fear of flying. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I have to fly quite a lot for work and privately (sometimes 4-5 flights per month) and over the last half a year my fear started from nowhere and got so bad that I would experience panic attacks (shaking out of fear, feeling sick from being so scared, wanting to cry throughout the whole flight as I felt such a fear of dying while flying).
I came across Flightpal through Instagram and while I didn’t expect much from an AI technology, the way how this site is built has helped IMMENSELY!
Already after the first session I felt much easier thinking about my next flight coming up! The app guides you through entire flight processes, technical background and helps to face and challenge your fears via various techniques to calm your nerves! You get to talk to a bot and ask ANY question and this bot honestly seems more human than any other LLM (ChatGPT and the other common AI systems). I asked so many questions and got everything explained in detail! I feel MUCH easier about my next flight!
It gives you little tasks and challenges during every session which really help to face what exactly scares you the most!
Even though I am aware that it’s not like a real therapy, I honestly feel so happy I gave that ad a try and signed up! I can really only highly recommend this to everyone that has the slightest or biggest fear of flying!
