Ignas and crew have been very pleasant to work with. I needed custom plans with 2 master bedrooms in case my elderly parents need to move in. They ensured everything was ada accessible and were open to changing even the smallest of details at my request. I’m looking forward to starting my build thanks to these guys.

Truoba was amazing to work with on our tiny house plans! The process was smooth and their communication was excellent. We made several changes to our plans, which were turned around quickly and exactly as requested. Once the final plans were delivered, we shared them with our builder, who was extremely impressed by how comprehensive they were. I can't recommend Truoba enough!

These words describe working with Ignas and Vaida. I came to the table with many ideas and some sketches and artistic renderings of a new small home. I mentioned I wanted to create plans for a comfortable, high performance 624 sqft home with orientation and awareness of the land it was being built. I desired windows and layout to make it feel much bigger than the external size would suggest. I will be building a low vapor permeable, RockWool interior/exterior insulation, metal roofed home. Truoba was patient with my second high performance architect involved and incorporated his detail analysis of high performance aspects into the plan. Truoba worked well my structural engineer and updated my drawings to reflect adjustments engineered required. I am glad to say after this long journey (that was mostly because I had so many details I wanted addressed) the plans are ready I can finally begin to build my home. I know if I need a change made along the way Truoba will be there for me. I also look forward to this build being complete and creating another building (bigger) on my property. I look forward to seeing how the the two Truoba buildings look and function on my property!

Choosing to work with Truoba and Ignas was the best decision we could have made. They have beautiful modern stock home plans that were easily altered to become the perfect floor plan for us. Easy to use website with upfront pricing. When I first came across Truoba I spent a lot of time looking at their different pre-designed plans. When I finally settled on one and sent an inquiry with some customization questions I received a response along with a mock-up of my requests within a business day. The architect, Ignas, is fast, polite, and very talented.

My wife and I found a home online that linked to Truoba. We checked out the pricing and what you get for that expense. What we found was a very reasonable cost. The plans were complete with all the detail you need. What was most appreciated was the responsiveness of Ignas, the architect, and his willingness to provide whatever changes we required. We also noted the efficiency and timeliness of his work. We highly recommend working with Ignas and Truoba. We’re happy we found them!

We own a piece of rural property where we're planning to build our retirement home. We've never built a house before, but we love architectural design in general and had been looking forward to engaging in the design process for our new home. So we hired a local architectural firm with a good reputation and started on the plans. But after working with this firm for more than a year (and after spending MANY thousands of dollars), we started feeling very uneasy that this firm just wasn't "getting us" - we wanted to create space that was contemporary, sustainable, and leveraged the unique natural features of our property, but they kept trying to push us into a more traditional direction. Additionally, every revision we requested took AGES to update in the plan, and every effort came with a hefty price tag. So before investing even more money with the old firm to generate construction drawings for a plan we didn't totally love, we decided to CUT BAIT and explore other options. This is how we found Truoba - and we are SO HAPPY we did! After looking through all the wonderful plans on the website, we found that Truoba Class 1422 was very close to the one-story floor plan we'd originally been envisioning. When we sent our desired updates to the website, we were SHOCKED to receive a personal response from Ignas the very next day, with our desired revisions already integrated into the starting plan! As we shared additional customizations that we wanted, Ignas and his team were always responsive, always helpful, and always a joy to engage with - frankly, everything our previous local architectural company had not been. We found Truoba's pricing to be very affordable, as well - especially in comparison to our last firm's pricing model. We have just received the finished construction drawings from Truoba, and will now be reviewing them with our local engineering team for any building code-related changes that might need to be integrated - with Ignas's guarantee that his team will incorporate these changes into the CD's for free. We can't wait to start building our new home, and we'll update this review as we learn more about the implementation of our customized Truoba plans. As far as the design process went, we give our highest recommendation to Ignas and his Truoba team! Such a pleasant experience, and such a reasonable price point!

What made this experience work for us was two things: The first is that Truoba maintained timely and open communication throughout the process but they were willing to tweak their already-awesome designs to what we wanted, even after we had finalized things, they were still willing to adjust a minor thing for us. Totally worth it!

Ignas was great and most importantly he was patient with me during the whole process. Plans are a little pricey when making modifications, but worth the price due to the attention to details, patience and quick responses. Another plus is he's willing to work with me later during my build if any slight changes are needed on my plans. Great company as far as I'm concerned! After looking at thousands of house plans, I found Truoba and immediately knew that we would build one of their homes. The biggest question was 'which one.' Every single one of Truoba's designs are thoughtful, user friendly and environmentally sound. The 921 is our dream home but, as with many waterfront properties, it was a bit too long. We reached out to Truoba and inquired about the cost of moving the garage and making some additional changes to the interior to make it the perfect home for us. I stressed that we were in no hurry and are still in the planning phase but Ignas and his team turned my ideas in to a reality in a matter of days. They are timely and thoughtful in the process of rethinking their original design and even worked in a couple of extra details I had not considered.
My husband works for a large building firm so he is very familiar with the design and build process. We had the option of using his people to make the required changes to our plan. After seeing the personalized 921 plan that Truoba has done for us, we know it was the right choice.
