Horrible customer service. I have been a customer since 2015. Prepaid in December for this year and have not received any service to my lawn. Since they did not schedule me for the March application, I began calling the beginning of April so they scheduled service for April 9th and no show. Several phone calls later still no response so found the number for Tom in the Middletown office. After I explained the problem his response was "How did you get this number"?
I did get a new schedule date of April 29th. After several e-mails that day remining me that John H was on his way, at 4:59PM the truck pulled up in front of my house. At 5:03PM I get a message that the service was not completed. I went out to talk to him and he sped off down the street. Today Sara called me to ask how the service was from them and offered a discount. I told her no, I am canceling and want a refund. Sure hope I don't have to fight it through my credit card!

I had Trugreen service for the years 2020 and 2021. My service consisted of lawn care and care for shrubs and bushes. First thing they said they would do was a Healthy Lawn Analysis. Never happened. In the two years I had the service I never once spoke to a technician. They would send out emails telling me they were coming for this service on a particular day and several times, they never showed up. Called customer service to point this out, got all kinds of apologies, but it continued to happen. Called customer service several times to complain about service being provided and within several hours, a deluge of rain would occur, washing off any product that was applied. They assured me that the product sinks right in, but in the two years I had the service, there was no discernible difference in the way my lawn looked from when I did it myself. Last summer, I had all manner of weeds in my yard for the entire summer. I finally called customer service to complain about that, and the response was “ some weeds are hard to get rid of”. I was under the impression that was their business. They sent a technician out to respray and there was no difference.

I have found them to be extremely expensive in comparison to local companies providing basically the same service. They are not customer focused. Only feedback I got in two years from technicians through receipt on door was to be sure to mow the lawn to a certain height. When I called to cancel the service, they did nothing to try to retain me as a customer. I would definitely not recommend them.
