TruGreen - Alpharetta Omdömen 6

I had been using TruGreen for a couple years. Until this Spring when they aerated my lawn and now I have brown spots/Dollar Spot ALL OVER MY LAWN. My neighbors don't have it - just me. It literally stops at the property line. I'm guessing their equipment had some kind of fungus on it and now my entire lawn is infected. I called and they were going to send a tech to look at it and talk to me about it. The guy shows up, and he's been on the job 2 months. Doesn't know anything about lawns other than how to use a sprayer or a spreader. UGH. Can't call a "local" branch because even though it's a local number, it goes to national call center and they have to send a message to the local branch and they have up to 2 business days to return your call. I'm cancelling my service. Won't deal with a national company again. They literally could care less about my lawn.

I’ve used true green for 7 1/2 years as long as I’ve lived in my home. Unfortunately the last several months I’ve had an exorbitant amount of weeds grow in my front and backyard. Obviously True Green is a preventative weed service unfortunately whatever they’ve been spraying on my lawn has caused the weeds to grow not to discourage growth.
It’s quite frustrating to have a yard full of weeds when you pay for prevention of them.

I would not recommend them at all.

After re-sodding my yard in the Spring, I engaged TruGreen for weed/fertilizer services. I pre-paid for one year.
After the second visit (late May/early June); the yard turned instantly brown and died. My neighbors sodded their yard at the same time, so with the 'kill-line' following the property boarder, it was pretty obvious the issue.
We could have perhaps saved the yard, but TruGreen refused to send anyone to look at the yard. I call customer support, asked the technicians to send someone. This has gone on all summer; customer support is nice, but powerless to do anything. They promised and promised someone would call/visit.
The most recent was on October 20, I posted a negative review; the local manager Craig called the next day, said he would be out on 10/25. Craig of course was a no show (seems to be the company policy on services complaints).

I am not being unreasonable; we could have saved the yard.

I have never been so frustrated and dissatisfied with a company as I am with TruGreen. I’ve been using them for a year and it’s been a waste of money! I’ve had to call them repeatedly because weeds and mosquitoes are still there after so called treatment. I have watched the technicians go from their truck to my back yard and be walking back to the truck before I can get to the door. There is no possible way the yard can be effectively sprayed in that short time. Customer Service does not apologize when I have to call for retreatment nor do they offer any helpful information. Having them come back to retreat does no good either! I have wasted so much money paying this company for doing nothing! To say they treat your lawn is a joke. They are a ripoff.

UTTER SCAM. They said they came on my first service with them for a mosquito problem but I couldn't figure out how because our little dog would've gone bananas if he saw someone out in our back yard (and he doesn't miss a bird whizzing by). But I called and they assured me someone came. Fine. Two days later, I'm getting mauled by mosquitos. So I tried to get customer service on the phone. Holy nightmare. Finally I got someone and she said they'd have someone out in 10 days. No one. So I called again. Set the service up for Thursday. So Thursday I put a note on the back gate with giant letter saying TRUGREEN PLEASE CALL WHEN YOU GET HERE. And I put the note over the latch so you couldn't miss it. But I didn't stop there. I put our little pooch in the kitchen that faces the backyard. And I sat and waited. A Trugreen technician called and said he was here and was about to service the yard and I told him I was here but didn't see him. The phone hung up. And I called him back several times - straight to VM. I'm so ticked they wasted hours and hours of me waiting and calling, etc. Please heed my advice and use someone else. Anyone else.

The managers in Cummings Georgia are unprofessional. They hire people just to forget they hired them. My son went to work on his first day just for one manager to tell him to wait on the other manager because he got other things to do. My son sat there for two hours!!!! Nobody came for him. How unprofessional..if You can’t treat your staff with respect how do you treat the customers. According to the other reviews they are not happy…I will be taking names of those two managers and sending it to the corporate office….maybe the media….
