They don't care once they have your money

Hello,

I am beyond frustrated at this point and need a clear answer regarding my **Triton 3.5A Oscillating Spindle & Belt Sander **replacement or credit.

I purchased this tool and it failed less then a 1.5 old, I was told it was the belt but after having issues you decided to replace the unit. . It failed before Christmas 2025, shortly after Thanksgiving 2025. After multiple emails, your team agreed that the unit would be replaced or that I would receive a credit voucher for a new unit. I have written confirmation stating this.

To date:

I have not received a replacement

I have not received a credit

For weeks now, I have attempted to follow up every Monday. Each time, my email is returned as undeliverable. This leaves me with no way to communicate, despite written confirmation that this issue was already resolved on your end.

I am not sure what is going on internally, but I do have emails clearly stating that a replacement or credit would be issued. At this point, I simply need to know:

When the replacement will be shipped or

When the agreed-upon credit will be applied

Please review my account and the prior email confirmations and respond with a resolution. I am not asking for anything beyond what was already promised.

Triton Router burnt up on 3rd use
Had to battle to get a Return Authorization
Then informed that replacement is backordered 3 months
Now 3 months later they are still giving me the run around...
Triton Tools sucks...that's the review...

One more tale of woe:

One more tale of woe to add to the litany of complaints about Triton power tools. I bought a Triton BS1200 3x21 belt sander to replace an old Rockwell sander which had died after MANY years of hard use. I liked the "locomotive" configuration of the Triton. The ~$200 price tag suggested that the unit was an industrial grade tool that would serve me well for years. NOT! After several years of very moderate use, the main drive gears stripped. Upon disassembly, I observed that the gears were severely worn and that the front armature bearing had seized; spinning the bearing in the PLASTIC bearing housing and melting the housing. The front and rear bearings on the output shaft were not seized but were in bad shape. The PLASTIC gear case was packed with sanding dust and black "goop", presumably the remains of some sort of lubricant. I made the mistake of ordering a new armature and output shaft assembly for about $60. Should have known better. The melted and deformed armature bearing housing would not hold the armature in its proper position and the tool would not operate smoothly. It was a throw-away. Very disappointing, particularly because I felt that the tool was well-designed and that the fits and finishes on the parts were top-notch. But Triton clearly cut corners on the drive train, resulting in early catastrophic failure.

NEED TOOL REPAIR

i have 2 tools in need of repair a plunge router and a track saw. i have called multiple times for someone to call me back to discuss where to send these for repair, i have not had anyone respond at all. started calling about 4 weeks ago . What can i do to get help from TRITON ???

I was given a Triton TPT125 planer as a good will gift,from a kind old guy I did work for. It’s about 18 months ago,it lost power started sparking, I replaced brushes,still the same, so I explained this to customer service, they asked me for serial number and proof of purchase, I sent SN,but explained it was a gift,but unfortunately the gentleman passed away before Christmas,so I haven’t got proof of purchase,and explained that I’m not sure if he registers it when purchased. The reply was blunt. Sorry without proper proof of purchase, I can not help you

No customer support

I have a triton thicknesser that needs a spare part. There is zero customer service apart from a signposting to a spare parts company that doesn't answer it's calls.
My advice: don't buy triton.

I purchased a Triton jigsaw TJ001 early…

I purchased a Triton jigsaw TJ001 early 2021 and registered the tool well within the allotted time period. However one year on and it developed a major fault. In that the blade mounting system failed rendering the tool unusable. I fully phoned the service centre and i was informed that on receipt of the relevant information they would email me a packing liable for the return of the faulty goods. The email was sent with a fast reply stating that they didn't pay for returned warranty items and that I would have to pay for this myself and that I must of been mistaken in my expectations. The claim is still active with no response from Triton. I will never use their products again.

I needed to make a claim under the guarantee as my almost new oscillating belt and spindle sander packed up. I hadn’t registered my purchase within the specified 28 days but the very helpful advisor I emailed suggested that I try to register anyway. I did, made my claim which was very quickly approved, I was sent a mailing label and returned, within a week it was repaired (burnt out PCB) and returned.
Excellent Customer Service, and Andy on the email was brilliant.

No Uk Backup

I currently own 11 No. Triton tools with which I am very pleased, however, I have on several occasions contacted Triton Support and the only time I have received a reply was when I sent a complaint of no-backup copying in TritonTools Australia and America?
I cannot go on supporting a company that cannot be bothered to give backup!!

Good little belt sander

Good little belt sander. I use for DIY.
Does get hot when sanding.
Biggest problem is when the drive belt goes its expensive to replace.
Been in touch with Triton direct and was given a link to buy a replacement drive belt. £5.12 + £5.95 postage!!!!
It would fit in a small envelope.
Disappointed overall. Have since upgraded to a Makita.
