We worked with Trident Funding through Good Sam RV Loans. It was quite possibly the worst experience for financing I've ever had. We were trying to refinance our RV loan on a 2025 brand new Class C motorhome. Their communication was horrible and they weren't very friendly. Not only did it take over a month to try to get the loan refinanced but they insisted they had to run our credit TWICE. We were told multiple times that the first credit report would be good for 30 days. While waiting around for the loan person to contact us back with questions we had (they wanted an inspection on a brand new RV AND wanted our bank info/credit card to run an undetermined amount through for this inspection) we ended up running through most of that 30 days but not ALL. When we finally said okay and gave our credit card info they said the credit report expired and they needed to pull another one. It hadn't been 30 days yet. We're very protective of our credit! We told them it hadn't been 30 days yet but let them run the credit again anyway. Waited and waited and waited and nothing from them. I finally reached out again to the loan person and he says, "Oh...the lender now says your debt to income ratio is too high and you need to pay down your loan by $12,000." First of all....were you ever going to tell us?? Second of all there was no change to our credit report that would have caused a $12,000 increase in our debt. Whenever my husband called them to speak with someone over the phone they were rude and very unfriendly.

Horrible communication from Heidi Moylan. It took weeks to get a response. I went with another lender who was much easier to deal with and provided the funding and terms I requested.

I was referred to Trident by the sellers broker, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Vince and Dana were always 10 steps ahead, and worked all hours to turn things around without delay. The rate was better than anything I could find quoted online, the paperwork was put together with clear instructions. Everything happened incredibly fast and as promised, I can't sing enough praises!
