Harassment and Physical Threats Against a Robbery Victim
I am writing this to warn others of the dehumanizing treatment I received from NJ Transit staff on April 30, 2026 (Train 3843, 12:53 AM departure from Newark Penn to Trenton).
I had just survived a violent armed robbery at gunpoint. After filing a report with the Newark Police (Incident #C26-17267), I boarded the train with a ticket provided by customer service. What followed was a targeted campaign of harassment by two conductors:
• Conductor 1: Mocked my victimization by making sarcastic comments about my belongings and baselessly challenged the validity of my police case number.
• Conductor 2: Publicly humiliated me by shouting that I was a "fraud" in front of the entire car. Most alarmingly, he explicitly threatened me with physical force, stating he would "physically remove" me from the train himself, despite knowing I was a trauma victim in distress.
NJ Transit staff displayed a staggering lack of professional ethics and basic human decency. Threatening a victim of a violent crime with further physical intimidation is unconscionable. I have already escalated this via Case #1839455 and demand immediate accountability.
