After sales service
No after sales service. Edmonton South. I bought 2 appliances in the last year and a half, and both failed. Good thing I have extended warranty, which Trail farms out to a third party.
I have been dealing with Memory Express for years with my computer needs and guess what? CUSTOMER SERVICE! What a novel concept. Take note Trail and take an example of how a company should look after customers.

Come day of delivery/installation, they cancel the installation with no notice.
I’ve arranged my day/work around this so now I have to hang around all afternoon for the delivery, have the dishwasher sit here in my kitchen for three days and then hang around another day for them to install it. WTF.
Poor service on a new sale
We purchased approximately $6500 in appliances from this company and told our sales person that we were planning to buy even more for our new kitchen renovation. The sales process was fine, but the post sales service was not very good. Several calls to both the sales person and to an apparent manager resulted in zero callbacks. So we will not be using this company again and definitely not recommending them to anyone. The sales process was fine, but the post sales was not very good. I highly do not recommend this store
I highly do not recommend this store. We purchased all of our appliances in February 2025 and were told that they were in stock and would be stored for us until our renovation was completed. When we called in May to schedule delivery in June, we were informed that the stove was not available. The sales manager then offered us a lower-grade range as a replacement. then we were later told that 8 units would be arriving in Edmonton in a week and would be delivered to us once they reached Calgary. However, we were then informed that the range we ordered had been discontinued by Samsung and we had to accept an older model of the same stove. This incident confirmed to us that they had sold our range in the hope of replacing it before discovering it was discontinued. They sold an item that was not even theirs to begin with. How can you trust a company that does this? If it were up to me, I would not give them a single star. Take my word for it, take your business elsewhere.
Purchasing a new dishwasher
We purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher from the Edmonton location. Our sales consultant was Devon Hooks. He was very helpful in that he gave us options, he answered all our questions, he was a very pleasant young man to deal with.

Convection Cooking
We purchased a new LG induction/convection oven at the 149 St location in Edmonton. Don, our sales associate was great. He knew his products and answered all of our questions. Don helped us choose the range that best suited our needs. With purchase we received a free convection cooking class which we attended today. Carl, the chef, demonstrated so many ways to use a convection oven and answered the many questions attendees had regarding their new ranges. It was an extremely informative afternoon not to mention the delicious food we were able to enjoy.

I initially had a positive engagement…
I initially had a positive engagement with staff. I purchased a dishwasher and was on my way home. When I was setting it up I realized there was a missing part. I very important part. The elbow that connects the water line to the dishwasher. I called up my salesperson and mentioned this and she said that it's not a standard part because most people use the old part from the previous dishwasher. I told her mine is old and didn't have a removeable part. Why wasn't I told about this when I was there? "It must have slipped my mind" she explained. However, she would sell me one for $15. I told her my round trip to her was four hours. What's that? You can sell it to me for cost which is $10? But I have to still come pick it up? I was fuming at that point and ended the call. Don't buy from this place, they are so money hungry and don't give a care about how they treat customers.

Friendly, helpful staff at Trail Appliances on 149 Street, Edmonton made our purchase such a pleasant experience. Don was knowledgeable and helped us make our decision with confidence. Lovely Alim at the front desk got our file up to date as she and Don worked together as a team. Great experience with Trail refrigerator purchase
We received exceptional advice from our Millstream Trail Product Expert Karan Parekh. Karan was very knowledgeable, courteous and patient, while we chose our wonderful Bosch refrigerator. Thanks, Karan! We took delivery of our new refrigerator on date, and on time. The delivery men, Brayden and Marvin, were excellent: professional, courteous and meticulous.

The sales consultant who helped us purchase a new fridge, Ken Galbraith, was friendly and impressed us with his knowledge of the products he was selling. He was able to accurately point out the pros and cons of the various units that we looked at. Delivery wss made within two days by an equally friendly crew who obviously knew what they were doing. When we called with a question after delivery, we received a quick and helpful response.
One of the worst experiences I had
One of the worst experiences I had, being promised to get my appliances in 2 weeks and now it's been over 45 days , they didn't even bother to call and inform me they have a shortage or it will be postponed and when I called the sales guy he simply said you can refund . Don't trust their delivery due dates!

Trail does not care after they have your money
This company will sell.you a lemon and not care or take responsibility. Dryer not working less than a month after purchase. A trail technician will see in 3 weeks. I just wanted to return the dryer but Trail just says they can't because the manufacturer policy. What a joke. Pass the buck Trail. Stand by your Products. Still going to coin laundry while technician ordering parts that will arrive who knows when. Should have gone to costco as they have 90 DAY return on appliances. Trail will only take returns seven days after purchase only if the appliance is in the box. We'll, trail took the box when they delivered it.

My mom (Olga Murashov) purchased Samsung Range Convection , while purchase was awesome (as it should, take money and sell) in a month and a half we started to experience problems with the cooking top. When called last Friday they said technician will be visiting to assess and fix this coming Monday (October 7th). My mom took a day off and unfortunately no one came. When called them they said in the next 3 days someone will come. Excuse me???? Should we take a week off from work just to wait for technician? Without even considering that we cannot use cooking top for anything. Horrible post sale service without any accountability!

Our strata building required commercial grade washers and dryers, and fortunately Trail Appliances had plenty of stock available for delivery within days. We purchased Huebsch washers and dryers and are very pleased thus far. The delivery and installation was efficient and completed in short order. The washers were run for a cycle to check for any leaks. And our old equipment was recycled.
Bosch - Rude Customer Support
My old dishware from a different manufacturer broke. I had already spent two weeks without one and trying to get through the busy routine as a working parent. I did my research and saw great reviews about Bosch appliances. I purchased a Bosch dishwasher and thought – nothing can go wrong. Someone installed it and ran a cycle to ensure everything worked correctly, but he could not interrupt it to start a new one. We looked everywhere in the manual and had no luck. We pushed every button, and the cycle would continue from where it stopped. There was no apparent way to restart a new cycle. We called Bosch customer support and were on hold for nearly thirty minutes. We were finally able to speak to an extremely rude attendant. We were already dealing with the stress of being unable to use our new appliance, and the false idea that everything would be perfect immediately kicked in. The customer representative showed zero empathy toward our situation and replied to our questions arrogantly. She told us that interrupting a cycle was unsuitable for the appliance, which seemed outrageous. In all the years of owning this kitchen aid, I have always been able to stop a cycle and choose a different one. After this interaction, all the good reviews about Bosh being the top dishwasher brand had no meaning to us. If I am going to invest my money, I’d instead give it to a company that has trained and capacitated personnel who are kind and helpful. I am highly disappointed, and I hope management realizes that being the top brand and offering sophisticated products is insufficient to maintain customer loyalty. If you want your clients to spread the word of mouth and tell their friends about how good of a brand you offer, you must train your staff to treat customers with empathy and proficiency. Otherwise, you will continue to lose customers and stop many others from purchasing any.
