Maverick - The service was very quick and helpful. Indeed answered all my questions and did what I requested.

Suspected Scam/Fraudulent Deduction from my Credit Card A/C
Hi, and pleasant day to you. I saw two (2) deductions on my Credit Card one on the 24/04/2025 for $13.50 USD and the other for $30.66 on the 27/04/2025. I would like to know who exactly are you and what permission was given allowing you to deduct monies from my card, I do not have children so why should I be shopping for toys and I do not own or have a registered business. The only transaction I could recall is when I responded to an Ad where Courts and also TTPost had laptops/boxes of unclaimed items at their warehouse to which customers did not collect and the laptops/items were sold at a discounted price. I tried to submit the request for one but I had a little difficulty in closing the deal. Please also note that my Profile picture is on my Facebook should you require it for my Laptop is badly damaged and I am unable to print or scan. This will be treated as a scam report if I do not receive the items before the 15th May 2025 that the monies was deducted for. I am demanding an immediate refund of both payments. Thank you

Mijn kado heb ik nooit ontvangen, maar ik zat dus wel vast aan een abonnement waarvoor zonder mijn toestemming geld van mijn creditkaart werd gehaald.
I never applied for the account
I never applied or registered for the account, went through the cancellation process and clicked no top-up on the same day that I received a notification of three days to top-up, then the payment was deducted the same day as the 3 day notification. I complained and was simply told that they could not give me a refund on prior payments. This was unacceptable, but on escalation to Kevin, it seems to have been sorted out and am now awaiting the refund. I appreciate the assistance given by Kevin, but the service from the support dept. prior to the escalation was shocking - cold, impersonal and unhelpful. Kevin, on the other hand, has been very polite and helpful
UPDATE 15/4/2025: Just received the following email reply:

I do see the review but it is supposed to between 4 or 5 stars for the refund to process as it is still pending.

In other words, my refund is dependant on a 4/5 star review. What a scam.
Update 21/04/2025:
Received another email from Curtis of the escalation team "confirming the cancellation" but with the following comment "After reviewing your account, our findings shows a subscription was initiated on 2023-01-27 and canceled on the 2025-04-09. Per the terms on our website, the trial period automatically transitions to a full membership if not canceled within the trial window. I never even knew of Toytime before 08/04/2024, so they are lying about initiating the account in 2023, and no further talk of any refund. No refund has been received and I am still receiving harassing promotional emails from them.

Awful scam
Awful scam, they take money without permission then send an email in Spanish if you ask them to stop. The email states you can have a cancellation and refund only if you provide a 4 or 5 star TrustPilot review with a screenshot as proof, so I wouldn't believe any of the good reviews. Translation of email (redacted names and card details) -

I hope you are well. I am contacting you on behalf of the escalation team regarding your case. Firstly, please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience during this process.
While our standard terms and conditions state that membership fees and subscriptions are non-refundable, I fully understand your situation and have made an exception to process your refund to the card ending in **** pending your approval. I have also ensured that your membership has been cancelled to prevent any further charges. I hope this resolution meets your expectations.
