Best customer service

They were able to help me and it made my day. I got the last box of a plush and didn’t realized I got the secret. The host also didn’t know since this plush was the last one and it wasn’t that popular. They show the sample and I traded. It wasn’t until after that I realized what I did and contacted their customer service pleading to swap back. They actually came through and were able to swap for me!! It truly made my whole week. I highly recommend toybeta to anyone. The hosts are friendly and customer service is wonderful. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Happy Customer

I have purchased many times from Toy Beta and each time I have been very happy with all purchases. When I have had questions and /or concerns CS has responded efficiently and with resolutions I have been satisfied with. I will continue to purchase my blind box collection from TB going forward. If you have hesitation, I hope this review will negate any uncertainty you may be having! Terrible experience

Terrible experience. They push customers off TikTok to avoid return rules, made multiple mistakes on a high-value order, then refused to fix them. They dragged me through endless messages offering tiny partial refunds instead of taking responsibility. Literally ten more dollars would have made it right, and they still refused. Looks friendly on Lives, but the moment something goes wrong, it’s excuses and blame-shifting. Easily the worst live seller experience I’ve had.

I had a very good experience ordering from ToyBeta. At first, there were some issues with delivery to my country and the package was sent back to them. However, the ToyBeta team quickly found another carrier and re-sent my package successfully. Their customer service was responsive, supportive, and made sure I received my order without any problems in the end. I really appreciate their effort and would happily order again.

I got my package today and it was opened on live but when I recieved it in person it was like they weren’t even opened 💕💕💕🌈 price is amazing cheap and affordable ! Beautiful Bobocos

I placed my first order with Toybeta a week or so ago, and recieved my order today.

I love that you can purchase from their website, and watch them unbox your order. Their hosts have maintain a good pace, but they are always very helpful, and I love Jojo's sense of humor.

They do free giveaway from time to time, allow you to switch your item with their sample, or you can try to put your item up for trade.

The community on their unboxing channel is kind to I one another which is marvelous.

Order 4 Boboco's and they are all perfect. The price was good, the shipping was free (a little slow since I am in the USA and they are in China), and they arrived packed in a thick box in a very orderly fashion.

Absolutely nothing to complain about here. Thank you ToyBeta!

Good experience

I made about 3 purchases 1 per day. I was happy to find out that they combined my orders and I received my whole order in a big box. Items were individually packaged, neat and secure. I now understand why it took 3 days to ship out. If you watch their lives you will know they have a lot of customers with a lot of items in each order. If they are packaged the same with every order then it’s understandable. After it was shipped it only took 10 days to arrive. I have packages coming from same location (different company) that have been in transit since mid April it’s now June 6th and I have still not received them. I will be a returning customer and I would recommend them. Great prices too. Toy company’s nowadays are price gouging so bad and Toy Beta is still very reasonable and for that reason I will stay a happy customer of theirs!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY TB!!! I ran across Toybeta almost 2 years ago. I have way to much fun with Rina, Jesse and May May!!! AND MAMA LOTUS, LOVE MY MAMA LOTUS!!! Always a great time, the hottest new blindboxes and customer service that actually treats customers right. Will always be a customer.

I've always had a very positive experience with TB

I've always had a very positive experience with Toybeta. All host are very fun to watch and super nice. My orders arrived well packed (with bubble wraps on each). The shipping boxes are sometimes damaged, but that is due to the shipper throwing my packages at the door instead of dropping it in front properly. 🤬😡

But anyways, most of the items are plushies so I haven't gotten any damages. Maybe only the corner of my limited edition item got squeeshed which was sad... but not TB's fault.

Also, whenever I had a concern or questions, their customer service tries to help as soon as they can, and they are very nice too!

I have been ordering from them since I found them... maybe even ordered too much hahahahaha!

One of the Worst Online Shopping Experiences

My negative review is for an order I made from toybeta sometime towards the end of February. This order took 2 weeks just to ship, and another 2 weeks to actually arrive. It took a whole month from me paying to receive my order —completely unacceptable for a standard order.

I've ordered from this company before, and while shipping was never particularly fast, it was never this slow either.

To make matters worse, when the product finally showed up, it was damaged. It looked like someone had applied tape directly to the face of the plush, then ripped it off. This stripped off some of the paint and left behind a sticky, grimy residue. This item was a limited edition that was in its own box. I understand if the product was taken out of the box temporarily to ensure it was stored safely for transportation but for it to be damaged like this shows lack of care. This probably occurred while the order was waiting to be packed since they keep these orders on the floor with pets roaming.

My girlfriend has also had negative experiences with the care they take with the items. One of her Kimmons arrived with the nose completely scrapped off. It was dirty and looked like it had been kicked across the floor.

Customer service wasn't helpful in resolving the issue. I expected better quality control and faster fulfillment. I won’t be ordering from them again, and I recommend others be cautious.

Poor customer service

I tried to leave a review on their actual website but come to find out they have to approve your reviews (THEY ONLY APPROVE GOOD REVIEWS). My review was never posted on their website so I'll post it here instead. This is the experience I had with their shop.

I've been shopping with TOYBETA since November of 2024 with no issues until March of 2025. I purchased many blindbox of Babythree 400% V1 series to get my target. The item I received was damaged, there was a big hole(pretty noticeable) on top of the head a big rip along the ear.

I messaged their customer service person. She responded with they would never intentionally send a defect item out etc blah blah blah. Then proceed to offer me a $5 discount for the inconvenience and asked if I can sew up the hole! This was an ABSOLUTELY JOKE! $5 isnt even going to cover my shipping cost!

I requested for the item to be replaced or issue me a refund. Customer service then shifted the blame to the manufacturer stating it isn't their fault either (basically saying its not their problem either). I looked back at my screen recording and when it was being unboxed you could see it was already damaged.

Im sure the host noticed it but didnt say anything because she was holding it all weird. I mentioned this to her and even sent her the recording as proof. To no avail she would not budge then told me if I wanted a refund or replacement I would need to pay for shipping back to them since its a "manufacturer defect".

I told her if it was caught on LIVE STREAM I would have been able to pick another blindbox to open. But what she is saying to me is in infact if even caught I would of have to keep the defect item. After a couple of days back and fourth she RELUCTANTLY refunded me and was very dismiss!

Again what a JOKE of a response! For you to say that what I'm saying isn't true is ABSURD!!! MAYBE GO BACK AND WATCH THE LIVE STREAM WITH YOUR EYES OPENED AND NOT CLOSED! Maybe your choosing not to see it and says its fine when it really wasn't. I have proof of it, which is why I screen recording all my openings on LIVE!

As I stated I was only refunded because I wouldn't accept your terms to "pay for shipping back". Saying you guys can take negative feed back, but turning around saying I'm leaving a false review! Seems like you can't take any negative reviews or criticism! I am happy to share my screen recording and tag you on TikTok to see whos lying!

TOYBETA IS A JOKE AND MONEY HUNGRY! (For example purchasing rights just to buy a limited INNS Plush, you make customers buy an entire set of INNS just so they can buy the limited plush. Other seller's from China lets you buy it no problem without all that BS!)

The BB3 plush was opened during our livestream. The seam defect was on the back and not easily visible, which is why the host didn’t notice it. We responded promptly after you reached out, and as always, any customer who identifies a defect during a live stream is always allowed to pick a replacement box immediately, no exceptions. Many of our customers can attest to it.

The issue was confirmed to be a manufacturer’s flaw, an unsewn seam after stuffing, not due to mishandling. While it was outside of our control, we still issued a full refund at your request and did not ask for a return.

It’s unfortunate that despite this resolution, an emotional and accusatory review filled with speculation was posted, such as us sending defective items intentionally or filtering out reviews unfairly.
We welcome both positive and negative feedback, as long as it is honest and fact-based.

Dishonest

I don't typically write reviews, I usually make a mental note of the bad experience and move on. However, the one thing I can't stand is a dishonest company or person. I will preface and say that I started disliking them after noticing their shady business practice. It is not due to forming a sudden bias because I suddenly decided to dislike them like they are claiming. Anyway, I used to love them and watched their lives religiously, but have seen them switch out samples multiple times for themselves. They also keep secrets. If you are ordering a blind box hoping for a secret, I guarantee that you will not get it. Especially if the secret has an obvious giveaway (ex: Labubu secret has extra tags so you can hear it while shaking). If you have been a long time viewer of their lives, you will see they play favorites and these favorites tend to get a lot of the secrets. They have other uncouth business practices, but I'm not going to get into that.

I have ordered Emma's from them and when they took them out on live for unboxing, the boxes were pre-opened already. This is extra suspicious given that they have a page of Emma secrets on their site. During the monster x one piece drop, despite ordering a full set, the boxes were all pre-opened. They do this with all new Popmart releases. They gave a ridiculous excuse for doing this. No other shops do this, I was able to find another shop that had a sealed box.

With upcoming tariffs, they have refused to acknowledge changes in shipping, while also claiming that customers will not face any tariffs. They refuse to take responsibility for tariffs if customers do get charged, as per shipping policy on site, yet continue to promote ordering. They keep providing conflicting information.

This company needs to be more transparent and learn how to better treat their customers.

I am updating my review in response to what they have responded:

The Emma boxes I am referring to are not secrets. I have seen pre-opened blind boxes on the stream. This is also not just my experience alone, several have also noticed this and brought it up. The bags may not be opened, but the boxes can be seen with tape holding the box close. They try to move fast to cover this. As for cancellations, while they do cancel upon request, if you watch the stream, they move fast to open boxes without giving you a chance to jump in and once boxes are opened, they are yours. I do have order numbers for several Emma purchases, but at this point, there is nothing they can do to make it right because they did not want to resolve privately. There is also nothing they can do to disprove what I, and many others, have seen with our own eyes on stream.

The reasoning they stated for pre-opened Popmart releases is due to having to acquire single pieces at vending machines. They claim to acquire several sets worth of single boxes from these vending machines to resell, which they then have to open to form a full set (but they also don't keep track of which items are out from the set when they do this). They have access to Popmart stores, but they get it from vending machines.. make it make sense. Vending machines don't hold more than 1-2 set, they stood holding up a line to get boxes to resell on stream?? Also they do NOT clearly specify on their site about opened boxes -- maybe they will now moving forward since being called out.

In regards to favoritism, while others do still get secrets on stream, if you watch enough, you'll notice the favorites gets it with a majority of their orders, and especially with secrets that have obvious tells with weight/shaking the box, and they definitely do not necessarily order more. I have also seen them pull from new sets for their favorites and allowing special rules for their favorites whereas others are denied.

In regards to the tariffs, they only recently made announcements regarding it after weeks of confusion due to me bringing it up. They also claim their workers are now not getting paid due to the effects of tariffs. I don't know if this is true or if it is just a ploy for sympathy. Either way, all workers should be paid a fair wage. I took it as a representation of how they are as a company. If they don't value the workers that they work to the bone, how much can they really value their customers other than a way to pad their wallet?

Take note of how they only responded to my negative feedback compared to others for calling them out. They are an unreliable and unprofessional company. Leave your trust somewhere else. Also please take note of their tone with the response. If anything, take that as an indication of their general lack of customer service and professionalism in dealing with reasonable concerns. Regarding pre-opened boxes: We always state clearly in our livestreams or product listings when a product may be opened in advance due to special sourcing methods. Not all new releases from POP MART are opened. We give customers the option to CANCEL. If your order included a PREORDER Emma secret, it may have been opened in advance because secrets ordered directly are sourced from other resellers specially for you, there’s no way to identify them without opening.

On secret figures and favoritism: Secret figures are rare and randomly distributed. Long-time buyers who order more frequently naturally have higher chances over time. We do not pre-select secrets for anyone. Many new customers have pulled secrets live on stream, which is open for everyone to see.

About tariffs: At this stage, we’ve been absorbing higher shipping costs in order to help U.S. customers avoid paying tariffs. However, this may not always be the case, and our policy is clearly outlined on our website. We have never stated that we would refuse to assist if a U.S. customer is unexpectedly charged. If you've seen any statement suggesting otherwise, feel free to share a screenshot and we’ll be happy to review it.
