Scam and irresponsible business. There are constant excuses for not paying money to vendors, constantly dragging on time until the company itself closes and leaves the outstanding debts. We had to continually write and ask when the debts would be paid out, but even the constant investment of our time in answering them to the stacks of stupid questions did not help to make the payment. They sent a suspicious copy of statement of payment made, but the money was not transferred to our bank account. Totally scam business, we're not surprised that they sold all their independent creators accounts to Shopify.

The fees are horrible for sellers... the worst thing is that even if you direct people to your personal shop and they accidentally search you through the marketplace, they are FOREVER locked to marketplace orders, meaning their orders will forever take 10% commission off seller's income!
And I understand having a commission fee for true marketplace orders, BUT charging 10% on shipping fees is just not okay. Not like sellers put shipping fees into their own pocket, nope, they go to the post office.

Love tictail - really sorry it's been sold to Shopify. Only had two sales on there. Loved the website. Another great online store gone along with Dawanda who was bought out by etsy.

As reported by a previous reviewer, I can confirm that Ethan Corby is a fraudster. We supplied him with items for which he claimed non delivery. I was suspicious of the claims from the start, but in time they were duly refunded. Low and behold, just days later these so called "missing goods" are for sale on their website (which, by the way I doubt they have licensing for and are infringing all sorts of copyright laws, and which I WILL be reporting to the owners of The Walking Dead licensing rights). Absolutely disgraceful !

Very bad customer service (takes about 1-3 days before you get an answer) and when you finally get the answer you have been waiting for so long, it's a generic answer to your problem/question.

The platform itself is a also a bad experience, since the shop is automatically locked when you as a customer to Tictail get a few bad reviews. That happened to me and the only option Tictail's customer service gave me was to try to "contact the shoppers who left a bad review, in order to get them to change their review". That is the dumbest thing ever, of course I have tried to contact my customers, however if you as a retailer already have made a mistake (delivery problem in my case) the shopper will never change their review. Some customers can of course change add a new review once they have got the product delivered, but they will never change their bad review because of a bad experience.

It's easy to start using Tictail, that I will give them. However, the customer service is bad and to sell products on Tictail is very expensive.
