Thruxton Circuit Omdömen 

Generally it was a good experience but I found the instructor somewhat impatient if you didn’t master things immediately which considering you only have 3 laps to master a car and flappy paddle gearbox you’ve never used before it was somewhat frustrating.
The single seaters are also well past their sell by date and need updating. All that said it was fun and also nice to meet Tiff Needell who is a very nice chap.

Very well run, organised and great fun. Staff were great, from the instructors, famous faces, marshals and caterers. All exceptional friendly people.

The whole experience was well organised / co-ordinated from arrival to the end. The briefing was informative and each driving experience instructor was friendly and put one at ease. The cars were great to drive and the instructors gave useful tips while the drive was in progress. I'd forgotten how bone shaking and uncomfortable the single seater racing cars were having not done one for 6 years and, at 75, it was somewhat challenging but still worth it!! The only glitch was a failure of the video recording in the Ford Mustang but I got an extra 3 laps in the Audi R8 turbo for free!! Good food and comfortable cafe plus good viewing areas for my wife. Altogether an enjoyable adrenaline fuelled experience.

I attended a race experience day with a friend of more than 50 years and we both felt like teenagers again!.Paul Mann, Tom Jones, Carol Johnson and ALL the staff were incredibly courteous, helpful and professional in all aspects of our day, thank you all.

It’s a far cry from when I’ve done these events years ago. The set up at Thruxton is excellent. The Thruxton center is a long way from the Nissan hut of old. The instructors are excellent and very friendly, but also informative. The track is second to none and the facilities are superb.

Amazing great instructors best cars best track

Did not expect auto Alpine, never drove auto before so three laps not enough to acclimatise. Not warned of this. Sports 2000 very tired these days, gearbox worn and difficult to get comfortable at wheel.

Fantastic time ! The whole experience was great. Met some nice people going in and had some time in the cafe, which was enjoyable. Tiff was great and the 360 video is a must. Kev from Essex

The experience is well run with friendly staff. The low rev limit will prove disappointing and frustrating to any competent drivers. IMO this should be mentioned on the website.

100% excellent in every way from booking to attending great staff all very helpful throughly recommend.

The organisation was very good, and very easy to book and communicate with the office at Thruxton. On arrival the greeting was good. We were met by the instructor Colin who was very professional, put you at ease, was friendly - a very good instructor and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A very good experience and would thoroughly recommend it.

My son enjoyed the off road and the skid pan but was very disappointed that he had very little time in the Porsche and was left in the Mini for most of his half an hour time slot. he really wanted to drive the Porsche as he intends to get a rear wheel drive car and wanted the experience.

Had an Alpine experience at Thruxton today and it was mega. The setup is very good but what really made it exceptional was that ALL the staff we met were very friendly, helpful and professional which made the day very memorable. The driving tuition was outstanding and of course the Alpine cars are just amazing. I can’t recommend it highly enough, if you like your cars …..don’t hesitate just book it.
