Highly recommended

I had a very positive experience with Wooden Door Restoration Specialists. Pieter was helpful from the initial enquiry right through to the completion of the work. His quote was clear, and any questions I had were answered quickly.
The restoration work was carried out exactly as expected and finished within the agreed timeframe. The quality of the workmanship was excellent
George, who repaired and repainted the door, was friendly and professionnal throughout.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the service and would happily use Wooden Door Restoration Specialists again for any future repairs.

Did what they quoted me to a high standard

I used them to paint and draught seal my door in Islington. They did exactly what they quoted on and
I am very happy with the results. The only reason for not giving a t star rating is because there was a small issue with the new lock after completion. Probably not their fault and they returned to resolve it in a couple of days. Overall very good to deal with from start to finish.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I live in Italy, so managing a rental property in London from a distance isn't always easy — you really need people you can rely on without having to be there yourself.

I couldn't have asked for more. They stripped back, repaired and repainted the front door to a really high standard, rehung it properly, sorted the draught-proofing, and fitted new locks ahead of my new tenants moving in. They even pointed me towards a specialist glass company to upgrade the security glazing, which saved me a lot of hassle trying to figure that out on my own.

What stood out was how well they communicated throughout. Being overseas, that kind of consistency really matters — it meant I always knew where things stood and didn't have to chase anyone. The whole thing was handled smoothly and without any drama, which is exactly what you want when you're not on the ground.

Really pleased with how it all turned out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
