The Village Surgery Omdömen 

I am extremely happy with the eConsult service at The Village Surgery in Barnet as it allows me to explain all my health concerns in detail and ensures that I am contacted promptly. Most importantly, I have been able to obtain both face to face appointments and telephone appointments, which has been very helpful. I am very pleased with the service provided.

I had a text confirming my appointment with the pharmacist at Pinxton surgery.Tze pang cancelled the appointment and I was not informed of it! No text nothing . Turned up to be told my appointment was cancelled and a quick apology for my time wasted!

This is the second time I have thought seriously about leaving a review as I know GP services get a lot of poor reviews because patients get frustrated the system more than the persons they were dealt with and generally I am happy with my GP especially as 9/10 I see my usual GP. On this occasion however having requesting a sooner appointment as original one given was just too far in the future and my symptoms had gotten worse and I had been advised by a medical colleague to seek my GPs advice. I was given a next day appointment, fantastic however on arrival I noticed the name on the screen as a Miss. I asked the Receptionist, who without even glancing up said, oh we dont have many Doctors in clinic today, really! A Friday no GPs mmm. So I asked who I was seeing she said oh and ACP Nurse. Okay, not really filling me with any confidence. I was called through a few mins later a good 15 mins before my actual appointment time. No I mention this because the very first question answered alot. 'So, why are you here today?' Seriously you didn't bother to read the econsult?? That would have given you a wealth of information. Anyhow I politely gave a historical background and showed her the problem, 'So does it hurt? Squeezing the area! No kidding! Then she stood up straight and said well its not hot nor red, I knew. Where she was going and said no its not and I know what red flags to look out for. Her responce take some ibuprofen and paracetamol, now see if she had bothered to take even 5 minutes to read my file she would know that I am on numerous drugs, some controlled and I can't take ibuprofen. So I corrected her and said no I can't take that So she said well try a gel and if it gets any worse go to Urgent Care or Aand E Seriously! This is why patients get fed up with the GPs and their systems. This nurse could have taken the time to even skim read my econ then she would have know why I was there.also what previous advice I had been given, also not make the mistake of telling me to take a drug I can't have. Sorry but in my honest opinion the visit was a waste of my time. Im still in pain, my symptoms aren't really improving but thats not the point, nor is it for many others. Clinicians should read why a patient has come to see them and know if they have intolerance to certain drugs before telling them to take something that could do more harm than good. And fobbing them off to Urgent care or AnE isn't really the answer that just clogs up another service, under manned and makes wait times longer. A few mins to get it right is not going to collapse the flow.

I am so blessed by every member of this Practise. The Receptionists as kind, patient and helpful and the Doctors listen and are caring and supportive 10/10

I have had various appointments recently and have found the receptionists kind, helpful and respectful whether I have rang or spoken to them face to face. The nurse is lovely, I have seen 3 different GPs and spoken on the phone to a GP and all have been very supportive, have listened to me and arranged scans or chased up appointments with the hospital. The MH practitioner was supportive wheras the NHS did not respond for 6 months.I had to wait as the appointment was running late or I would have given a 5.

I would like to give praise to the very kind nurse . I believe her name is Alison who went above and beyond helping me today at the Village Surgery Harpenden and combined two practice steps and the very kind receptionist , I think she is American , who went our her way to speak to the nurse and explained my position and consequently saved me a lot of bother and allowed me to have an afternoon of free time so I could relax after what has been a very stressful time in my outside the surgery life .

Thank you to such kind people .

We need more like them in this world today and tomorrow .

Hopeless receptionist told me doctor would call never did the care at that surgery diabolical would b better if you could do online consultation they dont even offer that need to join somewhere else not good

Contacted Village Surgery in Poole because I need to see a doctor. I could not get an appointment until 16 June and with a Dr I had asked not to see again. Today it is 20 May. If you need medical advice you need it when you ring the surgery and not weeks later

Cwmbran Village Surgery. Receptionists are rude, obstructive and engage in what amounts to corporate bullying. Doctors seem tired and disinterested and I can only assume that it is burnout. The overall experience is that you present situations for staff and GPs to ‘fend off’, leaving you with the feeling that they can’t wait to get you out of their consulting room. On a positive, the ability to complete an urgent appointment form online which is then triaged, is a welcome one.

I went to the surgery this week, after 4 years of not going, (pinxton) just routine thing, i was only one in waiting room, didn't wait too long, went in the room, GP said we only have ten minutes and can only talk about one complaint, what the heck, where i come from originally down south we saw the same GP every time, the GP down south was like a member of the family, no limit on time, sometimes we would bump into her in town and have a chat about everything and anything, and if we needed to go to the practice we would be treated and it would take as long as it took, 20 minutes, 1 hour, whatever, the GP at Pinxton who said he never saw me before and I never saw him before (which was right) sorted me out, but i have found and heard that nowadays when you go to see a GP you don't see the same one every time, (all over the country, not just pinxton), they don't know you (apart from what they see on your records), its just not on, my original female GP at the village doctors seems to have moved on, which is a pity as she was great, i will give one star for these new ones.

Where do I start I-phoned the Village surgery South Normanton to make a telephone appointment. Because I would not divulge my problem to a receptionist as it was a personal problem she told me that she was not prepared to deal with me and put the phone down on me, Julie the receptionist told me there was no appointments available for another week, so which I phoned.pinxton surgery they made me an appointment straight away to which I travelled back to the village surgery, South Normanton and ask Julie why she could not make me appointment to which She started shouting at me and became very aggressive, absolutely disgusting behaviour. All this was recorded on my phone. The above cannot be denied. The surgery is finished as far as myself and a lot of other local people are concerned. Very bad surgery they treated me like animals or I’m not human , they don’t have heart , I had badly left ears surgery at royal London hospital 2020 ,after to get consultation diagnosis referrals or medication was serious problems with these gp they refused to help me I suppose to go to Paris emergency to know what I have ,they Hyde me scan or tests results Tannah tell me hes can’t scan or mri , they have my all results in my records they don’t tell me I had positive they tell all are negative,when I requested my medical records they refused to give me , they knows i have serious anemia with red cell and Trt ,head bones compression neck shoulder spine hip knees feets tendon , they never give me massages or osteoarthritis and head problems labyrinthitis temporomandibular palsy nystagmus vestibular central disorders tendinopathie, hyporeflexia right side they only make fake referrals to UCLH because is same with royal London they blocked me to get treatment, I went to show my broken shoulder right side with pains she’s tell me she’s can’t referred me Tradock i say she’s asked me to leave the surgery they want to make me violent and traumatic ended my life or died with infections, i do everything to avoid ,they removed me from the surgery and mention I went to show my bicep to the surgery letter from Turner same team , they are not serious gp I bought luxury chocolate and wine for the surgery staff 2 times without they called.Tanna called dwp against me to tell them I went to Paris for family they are my benefits I suppose to sent them my vestibular tests from Paris they are award me,they share my information with royal free and royal London some lead of nhs contact these consultants to do not help me it’s strong mafia against me

40 minutes to get through to a service i pay for. Then to be told to use the web site which i explain doesnt give me the option to book a doctors appointment. The person answering the phone confirms its very confusing and offers to walk me through it as its very long winded.
Surely with the fast amounts of money invested in practices we can run a web site and help patients when they have spent 40 plus minutes getting through.

If your posh, then your ok, I am an outsider, i get treat like a pilgrim, after the abuse from peodophiles in saint albans, i see them as that more updates to follow im just getting started.
