I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit. I selected the £15.99 “Deluxe” package at your automatic wash, which includes a post-wash wipe-down. However, the service provided fell well below expectations.

Only one staff member was assigned to wipe the vehicle, and the work was carried out in a rushed and incomplete manner. Key areas — particularly the door side panels — were not properly cleaned, even after I brought this to the attendant’s attention.

As a result, I was required to finish cleaning parts of the vehicle myself upon returning home, which is not acceptable given the service level advertised and paid for.

In light of this experience, I will be leaving a negative review, as the quality of service did not meet a reasonable standard. I will not be returning and would instead opt for a more thorough hand car wash in the future.

He was amazing from start to finish. He has left my car in great condition, like new. Contacted me prior arrival, to let me know how long he will be. Spent hours on my car. And great at communicating and cant rhank you enough from me and my baby girl

Also Faith was great at communicating and went above and beyond, and manage get me last minute appointment to ensure safety.

Jan 2026: I engaged thesmartwash for a mould removal and anti-bac. Technician ALFIE was punctual, v friendly, v thorough and went above and beyond, all in cold weather. Headliner is mould stained - despite Alfie's valiant attempt over 3hrs, stains remain but headliner is a delicate fabric so Alfie was correct and professional to leave it be (plus I was forewarned at time of booking that, understandably, there is no guarantee of success).

Reza came and cleaned my sons car very friendly polite done a fantastic job would recommend.

I decided to take up Smartwash on their Winter Protection Package, not cheap, but as I am a gardener with a huge Labrador dog and no van, my car has to serve several purposes - business and leisure.

Admittedly, my car, after the ravages of a busy gardening summer, was in a terrible state. I was a bit embarrassed actually! To my friends, I jokingly call my car ‘a compost heap on wheels’ - ample justification then, for spending £250 on a valeting service.

Reza from Smartwash duly arrived at the house and the look on his face when he saw my car was one of visible shock. Once I’d made him a cuppa and he’d recovered a little, he set to. All he needed was a plug in extension lead and a bucket of warm water.

Fast forward the clock 3 hours later.

It was MY turn to be visibly shocked. I could not believe how amazing the interior of the vehicle looked. I’ve seriously not seen it that pristine since the day I drove it off the dealership forecourt! Reza had thrown himself into the challenge and his work was superb; I couldn’t fault it. I think even he was delighted at the outcome too!! There was not one dog hair to be seen.

So there you have it; from compost heap on wheels, to a gleaming, sparkling, winter protected, very respectable VW Golf. I can hold my head high once again. Even the neighbours do a double take as they pass and look inside.,.. ‘Is that really Adrian’s car?!’ I see them thinking! I couldn’t be more delighted.

This exercise was worth every single penny. It was also testament to the hard working and dedicated Reza, who then had a 2 hour drive back to East London.

I can’t recommend Smartwash highly enough. Thank you Faith, THANK YOU, REZA!

Today Friday the 24th of October 2025 I had an appointment booked with this car cleaning company who actually come to me and clean my car, as my car was very unclean due to my grandchildren eating and so forth in the car..Mij was the attended person I must say he was very polite and respectful he did a good job on my car. Thanks very much.

Mij cleaned my car today, and he did an absolutely fantastic job and my car looks like it did when I bought it new. He was both very courteous and polite and I would recommend him wholeheartedly

I had an awful experience with SmartCarWash Ltd. Honestly, I wish I had never gone there. The service was sloppy, rushed, and nowhere near the standard they advertise. My car came out looking almost the same as when I brought it in—still dirty in places, with streaks all over the windows and soap residue left behind.

On top of that, the staff were rude and dismissive when I pointed out the issues. Instead of fixing it, they acted like I was being unreasonable. The whole process felt like a waste of time and money.

If you care about your car, I’d strongly recommend avoiding SmartCarWash Ltd. There are plenty of other places that actually take pride in their work—this company clearly doesn’t.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received today. I had a 2 PM appointment, and nobody informed me of any delays. After texting at 2:15 PM, I was told the agent wouldn't arrive until 3:30-4 PM, which I stated was unacceptable. The arrival time was then revised to 3:00-3:30 PM. At 3:26 PM, I followed up again and was informed by the assigned agent that he had just received the job and wouldn't be there until 4:10 PM. While I appreciate his work, the overall customer service was appalling, with the delay blamed on traffic. A 2.5-hour traffic delay is unreasonable. I will not be using this service again. Additionally, my request to cancel and receive a refund of my deposit was denied.
