Cleaning protection plan is a scam

Overpriced and low quality is an understatement. And don’t buy their dumb cleaning protection plan. Getting a cleaning claim approved through their 3rd party company is like an act of God.

They say you’ll get reimbursed after 5 years if you don’t use it, but it’s for a paltry credit you can only use on furniture purchases with them of $999 or greater.

THE MANAGER AND SALESMAN WERE GREAT!

THE MANAGER IS GREAT! He took us around the show room and explained everything about the sales they had going on. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He also directed us to a salesman who were just as great and made our purchasing experience smooth and wonderful. I love the roomplace I have been shopping here for at least 18 years.

NO PRESSUR

WE WEREN'T PRESSURED OR BEING FOLLOWED. WHEN WE FOUND WHAT WE WANTED. WE CALLED HIM, ASKED QUESTION THAT CONCERNED US. HE WAS VERY ATUNED TO OUR NEEDS AND WANTS.

Ralph Lauren was the name of the guy…

Ralph Lauren was the name of the guy who helped me and he was super friendly and always helped me with everything. He was helpful in order to buy my furniture but the supervisor who helped Lauren place the order was not friendly and always seemed annoyed to help. Even the next day when I came back.
I would buy again if Ralph Lauren helped me, but not if their supervisor was in charge. I don't remember his name.

I also remember that the last time I went to order a missing part of my sofa, two guys sitting at the entrance tried to help me but they looked at each other with little enthusiasm. There was no enthusiasm to help people, just sitting in the armchairs and looking at their phones. In the end, they told another girl to help me when they weren't doing anything.

Furniture unavailable after I have paid

My original review needs to be updated, unfortunately. I believed them to be honest when they gave me the delivery date of my furniture. When I walked in the store I told the salesperson I was only interested in what was in their warehouse and did not have a long wait. They sold me the chest of drawers off the floor and the dresser would be there in 7 days. Now, I keep getting texts delaying dresser. Called the store numerous times, spoke to Renee who said I will call you back in one hour, 5 days later, no call back. Absolutely the worst customer service, never again.

Disgusted!!!

I have been attempting to contact corporate because I am trying to make a claim. I purchased a 5-year warranty on every piece I purchased Someone should be held accountable. I need proof of my warranty and purchase. I went into the store and they said they could not see I bought a chest. The store only has I canceled a chest. I did not cancel it was delivered to my address the same address they delivered the bed. The chest was on back-order it was not in stock due to COVID. My Chest is broken and my bed is weak I would like to use the warranty I purchased. I am very upset that I paid thousands of dollars to receive this type of service from The Room Place. There was not a problem accepting my money, but now when I need help they are not helping me. I am a heart patient I am dissatisfied with this whole situation. I will warn any and everyone not to purchase anything from The Roomplace.

Lack of c Communication

I ordered furniture on July '24, came in a week later to add warranty, then
came in 2weeks later for a price adjustment..3 days ago it won't be delivered it's discontinued, so when was anyone going to tell me..I cancelled the order..but since Room place already did a hard inquiry I had no choice but stay..now I have redo my entire living room because I knew I was getting the furniture..so disappointed

The lady who waited on me ...at first I was just looking she let me look without hovering over me ...then I left and decided I really wanted the entertainment center so I came back the same day tomake sure she got the sale
