The Quran Group is a Community Interest Company (CIC) on a mission to make Quran education accessible to everyone - completely free of charge. We provide live, daily online classes in Quran memorisation (Hifz) and recitation (Tajweed), taught by qualified teachers including Huffaz and Alims. With 5–7 sessions running Monday to Saturday, our flexible schedule is designed to fit around the lives of busy professionals, university students, parents, and anyone who wants to learn - regardless of age, background, or experience. We believe that no one should feel too old, too busy, or too far behind to start their Quran journey. Many of our students began reading for the very first time later in life, and some of our most dedicated volunteers are former students who were inspired to give back. Our classes are delivered live via Zoom with small group sizes to ensure personal attention and real progress. We also offer a supportive WhatsApp community where students encourage one another and stay accountable. The Quran Group was founded on a simple principle: consistency over perfection. Even 10 minutes a day can transform your relationship with the Quran. We're here to remove the barriers - you just have to show up. Whether you're memorising your first Surah or refining your Tajweed, there's a place for you here. All of our Quran classes are and always will be 100% free. Accessible Hifdh classes
They check and teach hifdh the classical way and makes it easy and accessible to memorise the Quran for anyone who is interested in learning. They have put forward an opportunity to memorise the Quran, to which the only external requirement would be your persistence.

Overall experience
Very flexible and good teaching method. However there is a bit of pressure to learn new ayahs every lesson. For me personally I struggle to learn new ayahs every day no matter how many times I repeat it. Could be taught new ayahs instead of learning it myself. Method of reciting new ayahs to teacher is not helpful as we have to listen to other people recite theirs to teacher and it can be frustrating if they recite a lot of new ayahs. Then it feels other students might Run out of time to recite their new ayah to teacher. It makes me feel far behind other students
It is helpful to recite old ayahs to each other and student. Helps with revision.

I really appreciate you highlighting what's working well (the flexibility and revision sessions with other students), and I want to address the challenges you've raised:
On learning pace & pressure: Every student learns at a different speed, and that's completely normal and expected. There should be no pressure to match other students' pace – this is your personal journey with the Quran. If the current pace feels too fast, please speak directly with your teacher. They can absolutely adjust expectations and even spend time teaching you the ayahs in class rather than expecting you to learn them independently.
On class time management: You raise a great point about feeling like time runs out when multiple students recite. We're actively looking at our class structure to ensure everyone gets adequate attention. In the meantime, if you find yourself consistently short on time, please let your teacher know – they may be able to arrange a brief check-in before or after class, or adjust how recitation time is allocated.
Most importantly: The goal is never to feel "behind." The Quran is not a race. Some students memorize quickly, others take more time – both are valuable and both are progressing. We're here to support whatever pace works for you.
