Don,
I purchased TheoTrade membership about three months ago based on claims regarding trade consistency and professional guidance. However, my experience has deviated significantly from these representations.
The platform is archaic, entry difficult, frequently need to enter my email address, navigating the site awkward, finding what I want hard, and slow or non-existent support. The support IBot is useless and support by a human representative “will be with you soon” inaccurate. The education library and classes are outdated, populated with recordings that are 3 or more YEARS old.
Following five direct trade suggestions resulted in five consecutive losses ($562 total loss), suggesting a discrepancy between advertised "expert" win rates and real-world application.
The volume of aggressive marketing and "hype" outweighs the actual educational utility – I sense marketing is prioritized over product and service quality. Retail $9,997 course for $997 may seem like good sales psychology, but it’s unbelievable, and no longer a concept taught in college level marketing which now teaches that marketing must be believable.
The lack of clear, verifiable performance data makes it impossible for me to justify the $1,000 for membership and $1,000 for future trading education.
I value my time and capital, and it is now clear that the program is not working for me as advertised.

Lost money in a short amount of time.
Maybe I got in at the wrong time. I signed up for their Ghost Signals. I had no desire to join all their courses (which is where they make their real money so maybe they offer more value). I took the trades they sent me as their alert signals. In 6 weeks, I've lost quite a bit of money on almost all the trades I took (especially those that expired today 2-20). I am still in some losing trades that will expire over the next few weeks. Maybe if you want to learn what they do so you can do it yourself, there's value. I can't say. Plus you get so many marketing emails because they're trying to upsell you into their educational programs. If you just want signals, it's not the best service in my opinion and experience. If you want to learn options, maybe they teach well. I don't know.
To be fair -- what they did well: they have a nice app that gives the signals. The entry signals are very clear and easy to use. I could easily enter the trades on my brokerage account. Clear and easy to use. Their communication is almost great.
I will also say - they may have a great company and a great product. I may have had the worst luck and timing when I signed up and just got in when all the trades went south. This is strictly based on my experience with their trades.
UPDATE 3-3: While I did lose money on all but 1 of the initial trades that I got into, since I wrote the review, I have gotten another profitable trade and still have about 4 open. Also, I see from their alerts (that I stopped taking), that they are having a better run now. More profitable trades. I increased my score to 3 (instead of 1) because I think my experience was bad luck and timing. If I see that they in fact do have a good run, I might change my review yet again. Time will tell.

Auto-Trade account just kept going lower and lower.
The hype was great. So I setup an account they traded on "auto-trade", which means their experts pulled the trigger on 100% of all trading in my account. The account was NEVER in the green at any moment during that year+ which suffered a significant percentage of loss, not to mention the hefty fee I paid to have them auto-trade. The account just slowly went lower and lower with each trade they did, and at a time when the overall market was going higher and higher.

Trying to get a subscription but looking at the monthly and annual prices - monthly $99 and annual is $9800 reduced to $997 - does not make sense. How can a $99 monthly becomes $9800 for yearly?

The $99/month option provides access to the core service on a monthly basis.
The annual option at $997 is a separate package that includes full access to our entire education archive, which contains over 100 in-depth classes and approximately 2,000 coaching sessions. That archive represents years of content and instruction, which is why its total stated value is much higher.
To clarify: we do not charge $9,800 for the annual membership. The current annual price is $997. The higher number reflects the combined retail value of the included educational content, not the actual price.

What's important for people to know
During covid, I set my mind to learn options. I found Theotrade and was able to triple my pandemic money. I used the money as a deposit on my own apartment. The education was great and the trade signals were even better. Fast forward, I'm joining again after 4-5 years. Mad I had to spend my profits on a rental but glad to now be in a position to start up again. I can only imagine if I kept my account growing. You will learn as much as you can handle with Theotrade with no fluff at all.

I read many of the reivews below complaining about things like i tried to cancel and they charged me more...
First i do not believe anything like that as i have for years been treated with the absolute opposite. so when someone says that in my mind they become suspect as there must have been some very extenuating circumastances... I am always shopping for Vendors as I buy many leads and join many stock and options programs to keep my learning going.. And because of this i have read thousands upon thousands of TrustPilot reviews and have in my mind learned to determine when a review is truthful or not.. When some one says "That company is lousy" or "Run the other way" I pay no attention to those type of complaints, as i really valid complaint will be very detailed in what the problem was exactly and what the did or did not do about it. And in the years i have been working with Theotrade especially Scott, I have seen nothing but a take care of you attitude. I recently requested a refund and it was processed within days with one simple request.. I have purchased dozens of stock market items from various vendors and find some to be sort shaky.. however Theotrade has been right there for me every step of the way. I have been exposed to many of the folks at Theotrade and every single one has made me feel a part of the family.. I have just recently sighed up for another Theotrade Chrisstmas Special and i have no doubt it will turn into a money maker for me.. Its new for me as I have never done Futures but Scott has offered to watch over me and make sure i stay out of trouble and if i had to trust him with my life I would.. Matter of fact it is a life or death matter as my wife told me that if this venture turned out bad she would kill me.. that was just before she made me reomove my name from the joint stock account and open my own individual account.. But she trusts Theotrade too so she donate 25 grand of her money to my account and told me if i did not double it not to come home.. and i and convinced i might even triple it with the good folks at theotrade.. Theotrade is the only trading company that i just keep on investing in as i love to see my money grow...

I wanted to cancel my subscription, so I emailed theotrade well ahead of time.
I received no reply, and instead, they attempted to charge me! After a failed charge due to insufficient funds, I received an email about the failed payment; I emailed them again, still no reply! Then they attempted to charge my card again! This time successfully, but they still sent 2 failed payment emails!!
I emailed them, gave them a call on the phone number provided in the Trustpilot reviews. But nothing. Save yourself and don’t start up with them. I had to change my card in order to stop them charging me!
And they still haven’t replied to my email!

What you described doesn’t match how TheoTrade operates in any way, but it does match a very common and very aggressive scam that’s been circulating in the trading space for a while now.
Unfortunately, a lot of reputable companies — ours included — are being impersonated by fraud rings running sophisticated copy-trade and customer-support scams.
Here’s the pattern these scams typically follow:
They plant a “mole” in public chatrooms or trading groups connected to well-known communities.
They reach out privately while impersonating a leader, coach, or staff member from the real company.
They direct the victim to a different website to fund an account or “copy trade.”
They often demand crypto or other hard-to-trace payments.
They simulate wins, drain the account, and disappear — all while the real company has no idea it’s happening.
Victims understandably assume the reputable company was involved, even though the scammers were operating independently.
Your review sounds very similar to that pattern, especially because:
We never ask customers to fund outside accounts,
We never contact customers through random chat rooms,
And if you ever need to cancel or reach us, our official support always responds when contacted through our actual website.

Please never navigate away from our official TheoTrade website to make a purchase or access your account.
