I have used the services of The Online Letting Agents more times than I can remember over the past 4 years, and they have always been consistently excellent. It has always been the same team of Eleanor and Sarah, backed up by a friendly, knowledgeable team, that have always impressed me with their efficient, prompt service, and very competitive prices and just as importantly the personal touch.
I would definitely recommend The Online Letting Agents to any Landlord, you will be pleasantly surprised, and probably won’t look back - I know I haven’t.

My first time using this service and so far it has been very good. Staff are responsive and professional and I like the app used to manage the letting.

Have been with The Online Letting Agents (TOLA) for a few years for full management. The tenant finding service is very efficient with easy communications and comprehensive information. The management service is also brilliant so can relax a bit on any emergency. The team is very friendly with puncture response. All in all, will stay with TOLA and highly recommended.

Have been using online letting agents for many years. Every time I have receivers outstanding customer service and prompt reply’s to all correspondences. I would defiantly recommend them.

Excellent service. I was badly let down by a different online agency but TOLA have been brilliant. Setting up the ad was easy and it was live within hours. They responded very quickly and positively to any queries by email. Phone calls to them were also answered promptly and helpfully. I especially like the fact that they give extra details about the potential tenants so you know a little about what the person is looking for before you phone them. All in all, I have been very impressed. I will definitely use TOLA next time I need to advertise.

We have used TOLA before to find suitable tenants, so they were the first choice when the searching again.
Well organised website with Landlord menu options and always someone available to talk to if required.

My property was let in days. The process of uploading info onto the TOLA site was easy and just as importantly the customer support was super quick and efficient right through to the signing of contacts and registering deposits. And all for a very reasonable cost. Don't usually give 5 stars but well deserved here.

Once again TOLA have provided a way above average service. Patient, efficient and super speedy. Kind to tenants and landlords and very responsive to queries.

My personal circumstances changed back in July 2022 meaning I had to rent my home out.

As a complete novice landlord, I initially went to the typical high street agents. Their pitches were all very compelling, their prices were eye watering. Over £200-250/m for a fully managed service.

I explored exactly what fully managed meant, as well as finding the excellent ‘Landlord Blog / Life’ website, full of information and guidance.

Fully managed meant they took the call from the tenant, used one of their ‘approved’ suppliers to get a cost and called me seek approval to fix the problem. I can understand why some may need that service, but I certainly didn’t. I’d prefer to have the call from the tenant so I can triage the issue and then, if needed, research the best company to fix it.

So my online hunting found The Online Letting Agents. With a fixed fee of a max of £55/m for their part managed service (tenant find and rent collection) it seemed a very obvious choice.

Naturally apprehensive that the service would be a lower standard, I phoned and spoke to Eleanor. After a 30 minute call asking many questions, I was left feeling completely reassured.

In August 2022 after just 24hrs of the Rightmove advert going live, I had my first tenant. The whole process was smooth, easy to understand and the rental income started coming in as expected.

The tenants unfortunately had to early terminate and so the property went straight back online and I’m now going through the process of checks for the new tenant.

The viewing request comes in the form of an email with the details of the person and some basic information, My job is simply to contact them, chat and arrange a viewing. Great way to get to know who’s going to be living in your property.

I’ve called and emailed Eleanor (and some of her colleagues) several times and her response time, customer service and quality of advice is excellent. Thank you Eleanor and the rest of the team.

I honestly feel like they genuinely have my back through this process.

Cannot recommend enough, and why on earth anyone would pay hundreds for the same service is beyond me.

The experience with TOLA is excellent. I have been using the service for several years. The agency has been super helpful and efficient by all means. They are very reliable and fair, compared to high street ones. Highly recommended without any reservation!

It had been generally good, but that feeling has been changed.

They seem to have enough knowledge regarding this business, but they do work only by online. I have felt their treatments unsatisfactory whenever I had problems in maintenance basically because they never visited the property. (From my understanding, they are in charge of this on behalf of the landlord.) I felt it seems to leave their work to me (a tenant).

Finally two and half months ago, I cancelled a plumber calling due to miscommunication with the agency. And they charged the fee to me. I would like to talk if it is legitimate with them, but they haven't reacted my email properly for two months. I don't know if they are investigating now, but it does not look so.

Update 8 Feb 2023: It is good to know TOLA had considered my email. But I could have thought they don't want to talk with me because they did not tell me how they had treated my case before this review. I don't know if I rushed but it was not the best timing, shame.

Because TOLA left their opinion regarding that particular event (although my review was not about this, so I think they should have emailed me personally regarding this), I also would like to write my thought about this. But it could be long and I don't think it is useful to other users, so I won't review every detail what happened.

Nevertheless for those who are interested in, if TOLA and the person in TOLA whom I had emailed with agree, I would like to open our previous conversation regarding that visiting of the plumber. I am not claiming it is not my fault, but I think it is arguable and unfair to be judged by TOLA.
