The product was excellent and well priced for the quality. Unfortunately it didn't fit my wife. The return was processed very quickly and efficiently. Would definately use this company again.

Sadly the jumper was loose knit and floppy.Sleeves are far to short. To return cost nearly £15 by the time they had deducted original postage. Poor experience.

For clarity, the item is described on our website as a chunky, loose-stitch knit, and the product details note that the sleeves may come up on the shorter side for some. We always aim to be as transparent as possible to help customers make an informed choice.

Excellent Service

I ordered a jumper for my husband

I ordered a jumper for my husband, arrived promptly and it was such good quality for the price. Sadly it did not suit my husband so I had to return it. The returns process was simple and communication was excellent. I will definitely order from them again.

Speedy service. Great quality items!

I placed my second order with The Nautical Company in December 2025 for a Christmas gift, and once again they were outstanding. The speed of service was fantastic, and the quality of the product is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t fault them and will definitely continue to shop with them.

Lovely product

Great website, nice products.
Lovely quick service.
Have ordered a few jumpers for my husband from The Nautical Company over the years.
He loves them says they are very comfortable and sizing is spot on.

Brilliant service and great products.

This is a brilliant company and extremely helpful. Sandrine, who answered the phone, was amazing. Apparently the jacket I wanted as a replacement for one I had had for a number of years was no longer available in yellow. She managed to source one for me. Delivery was quicker than expected. The jacket was in great condition and well packaged.
Many grateful thanks to all concerned. I love my jacket!

Prioritising profit over customer loyalty

I bought a coat and realised it was too big straight away, but due to work travel I didn’t contact the company until 3 weeks later. They replied to my email and explained, very curtly, that because the item was reduced the return period was also reduced. This notice wasn’t on the email confirming the purchase, which just smacks of a desperate company that puts customers at the bottom of their priorities. I am stuck with a coat that’s too big and I’ll never buy from this company again. Buyer beware.

These are listed in the footer of every page on our website, under the Help section. We do our best to make these details clear so that customers can return items easily within the stated period.
We​ do appreciate that it can sometimes be easy to miss these details, and we are sorry this has caused any inconvenience. As your request was made outside the return window, we were unable in this instance to accept this sale item back.
