I’ve been ordering these monthly mystery boxes for a good while now. I love the surprise and how I get it wrapped for more of the anticipation of wondering what it will be. I must admit, getting a bit fed up of having face masks every month, needs a little tune up.

I have ordered Mystery Gift boxes for the last 3 or 4 Christmases. I have no family and don't really make a big deal of it, but I quite like having something to open on the day, the contents of which are a surprise. I think the first box I ordered was quite good, but each year they have been incrementally less worthwhile, and I have to say that the one I had this year was pretty poor value. The two food items were okay and will always get used, but the two main gifts were much more relevant to a child (I specifically ordered a box for an adult woman), and the rest was of little interest or use. All in all, I reckon the value of the contents was probably about half what I paid. Last year's was a little disappointing but I was optimistic enough to hope that this year's would be better, but I'd have to say it really wasn't, and I doubt I will order another. I'm really sorry to post this review as it's a small business that I have tried to support, but I think they need to improve somewhat. They also need to stop putting in all those annoying shiny star things, as they get everywhere and I spend the whole year clearing them up!

I ordered six boxes same value and don't want to open them. One box weighs 632g and for comparison the other 5 weigh around 1200g Although I appreciate gifts of same value can weigh differently it makes me feel a little unsure. With this in mind I have now ordered a replacement box.

I like the idea, good price options compared to what else I could find - the contents hasn't been opened yet as this was part of a Christmas box.

I'm not going to take a star off as ultimately it makes no difference, but I think the wrapping isn't great. The main issue is the paper, if they want to use branded paper, fine, but at least look a bit Christmassy. It's just white with their logo.
Do it yourself if you really want to gift it to someone, if you're treating yourself, just know you're opening an advert. They might as well wrap it with pages from an Argos catalogue.

I've been using TheMysteryGiftBox for Xmas presents for a few years now. They always go down really well. Variety is great and often there are things I would never have thought of. One day I'm going to get one for myself as a treat.

Wow! My son loved his box for his 12th birthday! Such great fun & thoughtful gifts. We were especially impressed with the mini hoover for his pc!! You clearly understand the mess these boys make, it felt really personal & sweet. Can't wait to continue ordering more! Thankyou so much xxx

I dont know what is inside the Christmas mystery boxes as they were purchased for my 4 grown up children and 3 of the daughters in law for Christmas so they have not been opened! Maybe I should have ordered one for me? But I can say that the packaging and postage was really excellent. I think it was just 4 or 5 days after ordering that the 7 packages were delivered.

The recipient enjoyed all gifts for her birthday, so I can't really complain. The box was also delivered earlier than expected (although it must be noted the instruction to wait till the actual birthday to be delivered wasn't contemplated).

Only one chocolate item in it did come in box only brown one not what's ur page only harry potter was good rest I never use that not Xmas box at all random stuff thrown in not worth £25 money bk plz

The gifts were high quality but for the money paid we expected a bit more in there. We have bought cheaper boxes and been happier.

The start of the process was so quick and easy and got it the next day. Gave the present to my partner for his birthday and he said it was a great selection of items covered all bases food, hygiene, novelty will definitely recommend and use again Thanks.

i love this company - i never used to get pressies but did get money - i now use that money to buy myself gifts!!! And they come wrapped :) amazing. I genuinely haven't been disappointed yet. i cant wait for xmas
