Total scammers

This company is a disgrace bought lights July last year sent them back with great difficulty with cost of £35 to send now march 2026 these lights have been returned to me from shipping 9 months still no payment so stay well away from this company

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. Awful products which do not reflect the online pictures. Woeful customer experience and no recourse for a refund. Avoid at all costs. This is a drop-ship company, and a bad one. I purchased a clock that was of terrible quality. I tried to return it paying a large amount to do so and the item is lost. I don't have the clock or my money. Huge regret.

Avoid at all cost

Bought 2 pairs of shoes from the website. They were the right size but were not of a good quality and kept falling off. The website never mentioned the items came from China. I sent the items back for a refund. First of all, I had to pay for the return. We are now mid-November and the items have been sitting at the customs since the 8th October. They have arrived but haven't been collected. I keep contacting the company. They always reply to pretend they care but everytime it is the same answer: please be patient. They haven't reached our warehouse yet!
Absolute scam I am about £70 out of pocket now + the new shoes I had to buy here.
Do not purchase from this website.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Be warned it is a scam Chinese company with a pretend company in Manchester. DO NOT under any circumstances buy anything from them. You will NOT receive any money back.
STAY AWAY….STAY AWAY….STAY AWAY
BE WARNED.

They even have the nerve to reply to this review and ask if there is anything they can do. I’m lost for words with this company.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve contacted this swindling company and updated them and asked for a full refund. Now apparently after approximately 2 months the return I sent, is still in Chinese customs and still they won’t refund me or contact customs.

This is a fraudulent company

This is a fraudulent company. It sends you either nothing, or significantly inferior goods. Once you open a complaint with your bank, they suddenly start responding to you (and the bank). "Sara" who is the only person working at the company, will become supper helpful, telling you they will refund you, but to call off the bank first. When you say "no", they will tell you that it is impossible for them to refund you whilst the chargeback from the bank is open. This of course is also untrue. Once the bank does call off, they mysteriously are STILL unable to refund you and they "can't" try again. Save yourself money, stress and distrust of all things good, and DONT FALL FOR THE SHINY WEBSITE.

Edit: The response from The Livary you see below, is for your benefit only. To show they care...they dont. If I try and contact them again, I will get a automated response. FRAUDSTERS.

Every time I switch on the Lumaelegance…

Every time I switch on the Lumaelegance wall lamp, my living room looks more inviting. It gives off that warm kind of light that makes evenings feel cosy. I honestly didn’t think one lamp would make such a difference.

FAKE company, drop shipping from china

Like lots of others, I thought this was a UK-based business in manchester. It is, of course, just another fake website that drop-ships from China. The light fitting i ordered arrived absolutely shattered in a box that was nowhere near sufficient to survive international shipping. It also took nearly four weeks to arrive. I have requested a refund, but of course, the customer service agent is an AI bot and insists a refund is not possible. The phone number is not connected to anything. Save yourself the hassle! Maybe I'll get a light fitting in one piece and maybe I wont!

AVOID!!! They are a scam company

They are a scam company, stolen pictures and then just send you rubbish pretending to be correct, then send you round the houses getting a return. Which you will never get! Even challenged via Amex it didn’t work.

A pleasant surprise every evening

I would rate it with no stars if I could.
I ordered an XL down filled jacket and when it came it was really small. I returned it to the return address on the package and after many emails and photos of the tracking receipt from the post office they have informed me I sent it to the wrong address so am not entitled to a refund. THIS FIRM IS RIPPING ME OFF. DO NOT TOUCH IT. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND EVEN WHEN YOU RETURN THE ARTICLE.

AVOID. Unlawful, dishonest set up.

Huge delay on delivery. Items described and photographed were nothing like what arrived. I have asked to return three times now. The response I get is them bartering for an item swap, or a refund of 25% only. I am still awaiting a link to enable a return and my £84 refund. I fear this will not resolve in my favour or in an ethical consumer rights way. Never again. I advise all to avoid company

Beware! Tat!!

Beware!! I order a silver beaded necklace, description was 18 carot gold plated, silver coloured. The website shows a little pouch that it says it comes in and certainly didn’t say it was coming from china!!
The gift was for my daughter’s 18th. It was not the same as the image, came in a scruffy bubble wrap package with stainless steel written on the label. I would have paid £4 for this in a souvenir shop on holiday…absolute tat!!! And now I have to pay for return postage…tracked, to china!!

I wish I had noticed earlier that this company’s legitimacy is highly questionable. I bought two lights, assuming they would be shipped from the UK (since their website shows only a UK address). Instead, the items were shipped from China.
Not only did I receive the wrong items, but I was also unable to return them. The merchant (Sara, based in Hong Kong — confirmed by the charge on my Amex statement) repeatedly offered me a discount instead of providing a return address.
In the end, I had to dispute the charge with American Express, and I will also raise this issue with Shopify since the store is promoted through their platform.

Questionable experience but full credit for the refund!

I purchased what looked to be a Kato Tirrinia wine cooler 'bag' on 6 September. Upon review a day or so later, I was worried that it was from a suspicious site. I received an order confirmation with an email of assurance. However, soon after I received a note to say that the item was out of stock and that I could choose an alternative product. With a concern about the site's authenticity and the disappointment of the stock availability (notwithstanding that it looked to be a lookalike product and not the brand I wanted), I asked for a full refund. In fairness, the oft-mentioned 'Sara' responded swiftly and the refund duly turned up on my credit card on 10 September. In summary, I am likely never to use this site again but in fairness, they did refund me more promptly than many other on-line resellers.

UPDATE on my previous review!

UPDATE on my previous review: The Livary Returns Policy:

Returns

You have the right to return your order within 30 days of receipt.
Please contact our customer service at support@…….co.uk to arrange a return within this period.
The shipping cost of returning products is the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective.
If the item is defective, we will reimburse the shipping costs for the return.
Refunds

After receiving and inspecting the returned products, we strive to process the refund within 5 business days.
The refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment method used.

So piece of plastic tat returned to China @ my expense by Evri. It’s arrived in China on the 13th August and is currently in customs waiting for The Livary to pay import taxes. (Funny how The Livary are able to avoid paying import taxes into the UK!). I sent an email over a week ago informing them of the above (they had asked for the tracking number in a previous email exchange). I’ve covered my end of the procedure as I’ve shipped it at my cost and as there is NO mention in their returns policy of the tax or duty cost liability to the sender ….. it’s now September and not a word from The Livary. Sadly I’m no legal expert but surely they should adhere to the policies they state on their website. I was hoping, following all the extremely negative reviews on trust pilot, they would want to prove the returns policy is legit and not fabricated like most of the tat (bar clothing it would seem) on the website!

Perfect Light to Set the Mood for Dinners

I love minimalist décor, so the ZenGlow Japanese Wabi-Sabi wall lamp was a natural fit for my home. It gives off just enough light, not overpowering, but still creates a calming atmosphere. It arrived quickly, and setting it up was straightforward. I’m really happy with this addition.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS

DO NOT order from this business. Orders are shipped direct from China (takes forever to come) and the items are VERY poor quality and do not look anything like they do on their website. I now have two lights that are completely different to what I ordered and I am being told I have to cover postage and customs duty if I want a refund. Crazy poor customer service. Will never use again.
