shocking service, ordered a fan/light online for a clients job. This was an urgent job so we selected the express shipping. 7 days had passed and did not receive any tracking or contact. Our client contacted us saying it was taking to long and canceled the job so i emailed support at 8am and by 10am they had quickly loaded it into a courier and advised me that it had already been sent but the tracking displayed pick up times etc. I will insure to advise my clients not to shop here when looking for lights and advise our team of electricians not to refer this company anymore

I first ordered a wall-mounted fan but cancelled the next day because I wasn’t sure it was the right model. They said I’d have to pay a 20% restocking fee or take store credit, so I chose the credit to avoid losing money. After confirming it was suitable, I immediately placed another order for the same fan using that credit. A week later, they told me the fan wasn’t even in stock and would need to be backordered. However, the item was still listed as in Stock on their website.
This raises some legal questions... Disappointing experience overall.

I had a very specific outdoor sensor light that I needed which I struggled finding at the many shops local to me. A quick google search found The Lighting Outlet which not only had exactly what I needed, but they were in stock and at a great price. It was shipped much quicker than I expected and it was the perfect fit! Very happy with the product and service, and will use them again!

I purchased a floor lamp a few weeks ago, which arrived damaged, faulty and the colour was different to what was advertised online. I contacted them immediately to which they said they would send another one. I told them I don’t want another one as the colour has been misrepresented. They have ignored my last five emails, have kept my money and left me with the damaged product. I’m now down $245, I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with this company. Never again!! they are scammers and best to be avoided. Next step is to report them to the commerce commission and hopefully get a charge back through my Visa debit card.

Shocking company to order from. I waited months for a part order to be received, when I queried this with Lighting Outlet they advised they had emailed me to advise the main light had been discontinued that they had emailed to advise and because they hadn't had a response the sent the part order. I didn't receive their email, but it was like talking to a robot - that didn't matter, because the item had now been delivered - which was a light to compliment the discontinued light so therefore useless without it, all Lighting Outlet were prepared to do was offer a credit less delivery - complete waste of time talking to them, to be honest - I wouldn't order from this company if my life depended on it. The quality of lights pretty poor too.

Order arrived on time. Shades very poorly constructed and I asked for a replacement. Things went horribly downhill from there. Michele from customer service promises the earth and delivers nothing. Does not return phone calls and emails. Can never be reached because she's 'at the warehouse' where her phone can only be accessed by staff and she can't call customers. Very poor customer service from her and apparently no-one else can make a decision. This has been going on for 2 months. I've had one replacement of the 2 needed. Didn't know what had been sent and when the other will be arriving at my home. Does not have a grip on her job at all. Other staff have tried their best to get her to step up, to no avail.

The customer service of this company is so bad. We ordered two products 20 days ago, however we have not received any updates . The customer service staff is not helpful , not keeping promise to what she has made . Be aware of this company.

I was looking for a relatively out of date tube. The lighting outlet got the most comprehensive range and at the best price. Delivery was also quick.

Product was ordered, delivered within 3-4 days.
We have installed the 3 in 1 exhaust fan and it it working fine.
