We enjoy the different MREs for camping
My son has a lot of allergies and when he goes to Boy Scout camps or Space camps or other camps where they do not take his allergies to a lot of foods into account and they wind up serve him dry salads, or dry chicken with nothing on it or a flat fried egg with nothing on it, he is able to take MRS's instead and has meals to eat that do not require a stove/campfire or microwave. We know he is getting food he likes with enough calories and it is not tasteless.

the items were as advertised, webpage works fine, i would like to see a lower rate on postage. a less expensive, slower, way of receiving. at least as an option. save a few bucks, wait a week, no problem to me.

Sometimes slower is not necessarily always the least expensive...
This shipment ($13.45, US Postal Service Medium Flat Rate Box) to Minnesota would have cost $21.91 via slower USPS Retail Rate, resulting in a higher shipping charge AND without the ability to track the shipment or delivery.
We continually research the best shipping options for our customers, and currently UPS Ground and US Postal Service Priority Mail options are truly the least expensive overall for most orders.
mre entrees
This is a good site if you want to just buy MRE entrees and deserts without the heaters and other items that come with a standard MRE. The only problem is they charge about three times the actual cost of shipping. I suggest they mark up their products to the prices they feel they need and not make a profit on shipping.

Shipping charges are clearly published on our website PRIOR to checkout, and again during the checkout process prior to placing an order.
With all due respect, this customer review contains absolutely false information; we would NEVER charge three times the actual cost of shipping. Shipping costs for orders are calculated directly with the shipping carriers we use to ship orders (UPS and USPS) based on order weights/shipping box dimensions. This order was shipped and delivered exactly as promised.
Our mission is, and always has been, to keep our product prices low and charge actual shipping costs to recover shipping carrier charges.
We believe it’s more honest to charge a fair price for an item and to charge the actual shipping cost. That way, the customer can compare all the costs. And, most of the time our total price (products plus shipping) is less than a competitors' inflated price with "free" or "reduced" shipping charges.

The shipping method selected for this order was USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate Box $13.45, the standard USPS postage rate for that package. There were two other US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping options as well as the standard UPS Ground option for this order.
We're surprised by the negative review. This order was shipped and delivered within three days the order was placed.
Shipping charges are clearly published on our website PRIOR to checkout, and again during the checkout process prior to submitting the order.
They had what I needed and shipped what I wanted.
Can't ask for much more from a company! Smooth transaction.
