When my order came it was nicely packaged, everything was in great condition and fit perfectly. There was one item missing, but there was a note inside saying the money for the missing item has been refunded due to it being out of stock and had also given me a £5 voucher to use on the site who I thought was a really nice gesture. Overall I’m really happy with them and would highly recommend purchasing from them.

Brilliant service and ethical
I have had two orders from the Clear Out Store and both times the process has been really easy, including the returns process. It is a great store that I believe in ethically as a way to help combat the dark side of fast fashion by helping rehome perfectly good clothes. Everything I have ordered has been in brilliant condition and looks like new for a fraction of the price!
Both times I have been in contact with Kye, from the customer support team, who is very friendly and helpful, providing fast and useful responses. There is a clear want to help the customer and the experience feels personable.
I highly recommend shopping here

Hi Jill, I'm sorry you've had a bad experience. We do offer free returns for item's that you don't want to keep. I can assure you all items are washed and clean but as stated on our website, some can sit in storage for a while until bought so we always advise washing again before wearing even though they are clean. If left too long before being bought we will wash again before sending but we weren't aware of any issues with your item's so I can only apologise if something was missed. It's always worth emailing us another time to give us the opportunity to correct a situation, we're a nice bunch and always keen to help I promise 😊

Great service and rewarding!
One of my items was accidentally mislabelled on the website but they were very honest and clear about it and offered a refund if I wanted. I accepted the item anyway and am very happy with all that I ordered. The clothes were well packaged and smelled clean and fresh. Plus, it's fun to get unique clothes!

Did not fit!
Despite following the measurements and the sizing guides three items showed up two small, to the point where it wouldn’t even fit over my head so was not even a size to small but multiple sizes. Some items were torn and dirty which was not advertised in the listing.

We could have refunded your for your order and had them returned free of charge to yourself for us to look into.
I can assure you, issues such as these are extremely rare but we always do our utmost to rectify an issue if we are made aware.
If you are still inside our 14day free returns policy please do email us at support@theclearoutstore.co.uk to arrange your return. You can still return your items up to 30days too. If you can send us a photograph of any flaws/marks/tears we can fully refund you for that item with no return necessary.
