More choice of shoes brands that other shops can offer

On Monday late afternoon I came in with my godson who is visiting us from Germany to buy him shoes, something we do 4 or 5 times a year.
The young lady measured his feet, declared that his shoe size is 37, (since spring we have been buying shoes, sandals and trainers from you size 38 which all fitted him perfectly).
We were shown 1 pair of shoes, one pair of trainers and 2 pairs of ankle boots, all in size 37, none fitted him.
We were told that you no loner stock larger sizes and nothing else was supplied and disappointed we left empty handed.
Bewildered I checked your website and found that you had a Hummel and a Ricosta in 38 in stock that both would have been what we wanted.
Over the years we had excellent service from you, sadly not on Monday.

This is a decent shoe shop - the staff actually take an interest in the customers even at busy times of year and ensure the shoes fit well. They stock a variety of different brands, some of which you don't get in many places in the UK and they are all good quality.

Ordering online is quick and easy too, with the shoes arriving only a few days later.

We’ve bought shoes from this shop when it was previously Doogies and then changed to the Children’s Shoe Company. That was 16 years ago! Added to that, we moved to Scotland 8 years ago and we’re still shopping here, either online or a visit if we return down south. As always a superb range of quality shoes and always in the size that I require. My latest purchase is no exception; size in stock, delivered 2 days later. Done!

Ordered my daughters school shoes, they are great quality better than any I could have got in a store local to me. Delivery was quick. It came packaged in brown paper & presented in a coloured tissue paper, looked environment friendly and my daughter was excited to open them. Will shop here again.
