The Car Place Omdömen 

I wish I had of had more time to look for used cars elsewhere.
I felt pressured to sign contract. I had made some alterations to contract, as it refers to obsolete regulations and acts. I stood my ground and only signed contract after they agreed to my alterations.
Picked up my car. It randomly shuddered on drive home. I contacted salesman who said it was on/off engine start. Said I did not use it, as I do not like it. Pointed out my son's car has same feature and there is no jerking or shuddering, it's all very smooth.
There were couple of other issues as well, so booked it in for repairs.
Dropped it off Thurs 02 July & given loan car. Loan car should not be on road. Driving along & it pulls to left or right side for no reason. It was very scary the first few times.
It has a strong chemical smell, like fibreglass glue, & have to drive with window down. Learnt this Thursday night, had massive headache as sinuses inflamed from smell. Could not get GPS to work. Had map only. No verbal guidance. No voice recognition.
Thursday came & went. NO WORD FROM ANYBODY ABOUT MY CAR.
I shot a letter to salesman that night asking why no one contacted me. Asked, was it because I am a female & wouldn't understand what they were saying, or is this their typical customer service. NO REPLY.
Received two msg from mechanic Friday. Last msg, it may need software update, I WILL CONTACT YOU MONDAY. Couldn't understand his first msg as too many mistakes to make sense. NO CAR FOR WEEKEND.
It is now after 8.00pm Monday 06 July and NO BODY HAS CONTACTED ME YET AGAIN.
Their customer service is a joke.
I can guarantee they would not treat a male in this manner. It is utter disrespect to their customer.
Who knows when I will get my car back.
I hope Mr Tan reads customers' reviews as I am not the only disgruntled customer.

After a bit of a delay in the delivery I have found the The Car Place to be incredibly helpful, any questions i have asked ref the unit i bought for my sons Polo were answered even with a phone call from Archie on a Saturday afternoon to discuss and issue I was having with the stereo staying on. As a person who works in the motor trade its very refreshing to find a company that may not seem massive but still have enough time to care. Please note my son is extremely pleased with unit for his car.

I purchased a CarPlay kit to replace the original radio in my C1. Initially, the customer service was helpful and responsive, which gave me confidence in the product and company.
Unfortunately, when the system began to fail, the experience changed significantly. I was repeatedly asked to carry out various troubleshooting steps over multiple email exchanges, which felt unnecessarily drawn out. After completing everything requested, communication stopped altogether and my follow-up emails have gone unanswered.
It's disappointing, as the after-sales support has not matched the level of service I received before the purchase. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the company unless they improve their handling of warranty and support issues.

Quick to deliver, but didn’t fit the car (automatic version instead of manual car) BUT returned in Middle Feb but still waiting for refund! No response from them!

Received within 2 days, fitting tutorial spot on and fitted with ease in around 45 minutes. A really great piece of kit my granddaughter loves it, she programmed her phone in within a few minutes.

Let's start with saying l never write reviews, but having received the best ever consumer service in my life l couldn't not do it. I ordered the android stereo for my pld polo and l couldn't fit it, l emailed the car place on Saturday afternoon and within 30mins received a WhatsApp message from Archie. He was amazing with explaining every single step on his Saturday afternoon for hrs, even when he was going out he was still responding and helping with installing the system. I had an issue with the system not switching off when engine was off and he asked for pics to sent to technical team. On Sunday afternoon l messaged asking if there was any news he said not yet, but he started yet another trouble shooting with me and we found out the l had connected a cable that was not supposed to be connected and it was solved. I was over the moon as I didn't have to spend a fortune for someone to do it for me. I 100000% recommend buying anything from this place, l would rather pay a bit more and get the most amazing service than cheap with biggest stress. But their prices are extremely competitive.
