Fantastic in every way!

Car, Customer Service and everything the team do is excellent. We needed a new car and one that was higher for my own personal benefit. Saw the Juke online, booked a test drive and instantly fell in love. Anything the car needed was done and we bought it in immaculate condition inside and out, and an MOT with no advisories. Dean was amazing with everything including any after purchase queries. Honestly an absolutely amazing company, and we will be back for a 2nd car.

Customer service is absolutely…

Customer service is absolutely Fantastic. I was in contact with James about trading my car in for a delivery they just had in. It went so smooth they sort everything out and I just turned up and then went for a test drive and it was a yes straight away.
This is the 2nd time I have used The Professional Car Agent and certainly won’t be stopping there.

Having purchased many vehicles over the past 53 years both new and used I have to say without a doubt that The Car Agents are by far the best company I have ever dealt with. Nothing has been too much trouble for them every concern and query was dealt with both professionally and sympathetically and in double quick time. I must give a shout out for Dean who was the individual who dealt with my purchase who I have nothing but praise for. I bought the car without physically seeing it (always a worry) but was assured by Dean of its condition etc and if anything it was better than described. He assisted me throughout the process and made my purchase a seamless and enjoyable experience. A+ to this company

Absolutely Amazing Experience

The professional car agent have set the bar very high for a perfect customer experience / car dealership. From the moment I walked into the showroom with a brief inquiry about a car I had seen on the website. I was made to feel at ease. No hard sell or limitations on test driving the car. I had a lot of questions particularly as I was looking to part exchange another vehicle. James was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. It could not have been more seamless and James made the whole process pleasant and stress free. Their attention to detail and my satisfaction was unparalleled- going above and beyond in every aspect!
I will be back when it’s time for an upgrade.

Bad customer service …

A few months ago I brought a car from the car agent, and I loved it. Within a few weeks I got my car cleaned and a deep scratch appeared which definitely wasn’t there when I brought it . I took it back a first time after not being happy with the scratch and my speakers being blown when I originally picked the car up and this was noticed and addressed on the day when I had got home, they booked my car in for the paintwork to be done and the speakers. After having my car a week and the paintwork that they ‘corrected’ was absolutely shocking , and my speakers were still blown. Obviously still not happy with my car I got hold of them again, this was a struggle whilst I was moving jobs I couldn’t be without a car for my first month so getting hold of them about my car was a bit delayed but still within my warranty! So again my car had gone in and a second time the paintwork has not been corrected, I completely understand if my paintwork was not under warranty but they could’ve told me that and not bothered trying to correct it in the first place and to top all of this my speakers have blown again for the 2nd time after getting them fixed 2 days ago and also wasn’t happy with a Stanley blade being left in my car. Beyond disappointed that I did not get the customer service that they rave about on their social media and their staff need to act more interested in their job , customer service skills clearly not at its best, the first person you see when you come into the shop was not welcoming at all she was in fact rude and miserable, very disappointed with my experience with the car agent after reading all their reviews.

Hi Sophie, as the Director of The Car Agent I am sorry to see your review but I also thank you for the feedback. Our number one priority has always been customer service above anything and in 9 years we have always upheld this stance and have yet to let a customer down with a genuine warranty issue. It is our customers that review us based on their experience - just as you have in this instance and 99.9% of the time they are very good - in fact within the top 5 car dealers on Trust Pilot.

Upon collection of your car I’m sure it would have been valeted and in the showroom ready for collection, at this point it appears we never saw a scratch and neither did you until a few weeks later and the car being cleaned I presume a second time after the initial valet upon collection, I apologise we both missed the scratch at point of handover when the car is in peak condition.
I believe we have tried to rectify for this for you. We do not have a body repair centre only a service centre for servicing, MOT and diagnostic repairs. In this instance we would have paid for your car to go to an independent bodyshop. As we have paid we need you to be happy with the work and if you feel the work has not been completed to a good enough standard I am happy to take this up with them and work with you and them so that you feel happy. We do not expect to pay a third party and not get the job done to good standard.

Unfortunately when testing your speakers for a second time we found they were all working with a high volume, on the technicians notes for this job what we did notice was the bass, treble etc was all turned up to max and it could be the case that if the system is completely turned up and used on full volume in combination with maximum bass settings it could interrupt your speaker performance, we never tried the system on full settings because this could damage your speaker system, you would need a more advanced system for this type of use.

We have no issue in repairing a broken item, we have never let one customer down and do not intend to with a simple speaker replacement regardless of the low cost to replace them. I am very happy for you to show me personally that the speakers are not working now under normal settings and I would look in to getting them replaced if this was the case. I have to rely on my technicians and generally they prove themselves correct on their diagnosis however we are all human and not always perfect and for that reason I am willing for you to show me what they didn’t find. We do not expect you to drive a car without music or having to replace speakers in a warranty period that are faulty.
We cannot however replace items that are working when we have the car in our possession, after testing the wiring it showed everything was correctly functioning to all speakers at that time, but I am willing and happy for you to show me differently.
I mean this respectfully, In that, as a business we understand cars can go wrong, it is why garages exist and why there are warranties in place, a car has thousands of moving parts and for that reason are often unpredictable- this is the case with new cars also straight out of the factory. We have helped customers with engine rebuilds even outside of their warranty period, we would have no issue or quibble in replacing faulty speakers, it’s often when things go wrong customer’s experience how caring a dealer really is and it’s in these circumstances we normally shine.

In the case of the Stanley blade I cannot understand why this would be in the car as it is not a tool we would use to check your speakers and maybe the body repair shop have used it to cut some tape for painting I can only assume. We should have checked inside the car for anything left and for this we take responsibility, after all the car came back to us to handover to you. As an apology please accept a free of charge service and MOT next year as a goodwill gesture.

On your final point regarding our staff, it is my job to employ the staff, the staff are our business and the staff create our success so I carry out this process diligently.

To date all we have ever had is good praise from thousands of customers and it’s our staff who have created this in being enthusiastic, helpful and energetic. I’m in the business everyday and we pick our team based on fitting in to this culture.

I am sorry if you felt a team member had an off day on your visit. I am sure this was not meant to be the greeting that was portrayed as this type of person within a customer service role probably would not contribute to 9 years of great reviews.

Hopefully we will get the opportunity to help you feel better about your purchase and I am sure given the chance you will see we are always happy to help and we hope your view may change on our intentions to create a great level of customer service.
But based on how you feel at this point we would never try to get you to remove your review, we understand it is not meant maliciously and that opinions and feelings are important and from our point of view we can use this information to review our team and see what we could have done better, maybe in communication, managing expectations, a detailed summary of our findings with your fault. Every business on the planet can always improve and get better, all we can do is work to get as close to perfect as we can be, which is a never ending task.
In summary, 1. We are happy to take the car back to the body shop we used and work with you to get the scratch we/you never noticed at handover, we have already paid for the rectification so we also want it to be to your standard.

2. We are happy for you to come in and show us the speaker issue that we couldn’t experience under standard volumes and happy to replace if they are not working. I have to go by my technicians notes and for the sake of such a small job we would have no problem in replacing them

3. Take full responsibility for a Stanley blade left in your car - agreeing we should have checked the car after a third party working in there and for this offer you a free service and MOT next year as a goodwill gesture.

Im sorry that you have left us a two star review, hopefully you can see we have never meant to upset you and are more than willing to try and make your experience a better one and help where we can. I will personally call you as a follow up to this reply. Kind Regards, Matt
