The jollof rice was superb, and the spicy jumbo wings packed a wonderful punch, perfectly complemented by the golden-brown plantains. Absolutely delightful!

Inconsiderate staff
Inconsiderate staff. I was at the Rose and Crown pub in Greenwich with my 83 year old mother. She had to use the ladies but unfortunately, the ladies room is upstairs which she could not access due to her limited mobility. The lovely Nathan, mgr. of the Rose, went across the street to the Calabash and asked a staff member if my mother could use their ladies. I was quite shocked when she was refused because she was not a customer. Nathan then asked the staff at Heap's Gourmet Sausage if she could use their staff loo which they graciously consented. The Calabash obviously doesn't care about the needs of the elderly.

The atmosphere and good food were relaxing. It was a pleasure to have dinner. Great food and staff. Great atmosphere.

Delicious food all round especially the Grilled fish which was fantastic. Really good and efficient service.

Recent Visits
I have visited a few times now, and their fish is well seasoned and simply delicious.
If you like something a little spicier then the chicken wings are simply scrumptious.
What I also liked about the place, is the excellent service received.
