I highly recommend The British Shop
I have used The British Shop twice. Once for shipping paintings from the UK to the USA and most recently to ship my household goods back to the US. I was so impressed by The British Shop when they shipped my paintings and having had a horrible experience with another shipper years ago (everything arrived broken or damaged), I decided to use The British Shop again for my household items, including lots of art stuff. I did pack almost everything really well myself, except for the difficult furniture and my beloved press but they built the most wonderful crates and fitted everything in so well that it has all arrived safely.
I admit I was under a lot of stress at the time, selling my family home, moving back to the States and getting ready to teach summer school, but Jenni walked me through the whole process and form filling with huge patience for which I am deeply grateful. She deserves a bonus!! 😊.
From the guys that picked up my stuff in the pouring rain to the guys that delivered my crates last week, I say thank you for being so lovely.
It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Thank you The British Shop.

Shipping fragile artwork around the globe
I've worked with The British Shop on two separate shipments to the USA. I have used their specialist packing and crating services for the USA, Beirut and the UK. I'm always nervous as the art work to be shipped is extremely fragile. My experience working with The British Shop is excellent hence the 5 star rating. They are excellent with communication, providing quotes, collection, packing and delivery to the required destination. All artwork arrived safely and I would use them next time round. I highly recommend The British Shop for shipping fragile artwork around the globe.

Amazing service
Amazing service! They assisted me with the shipping of a large scale fragile plaster sculpture. It was packaged and crated with great care and arrived fast -within a week- to the USA. They are also great communicators and do a very good job documenting the condition of the item before packaging/shipping. I am a very pleased client and will use their services again.
