The British Blanket Company is a family-run business founded by siblings Bethan and Joe John in 2015. From our design studio in Bristol, we create blankets and scarves that celebrate colour, comfort and traditional craftsmanship. Our mission is simple: to bring natural warmth and timeless style into your home. Every piece is woven from natural, biodegradable fibres, including wool and recycled cotton, by carefully chosen mills in the UK and Ireland. We take pride in working closely with these makers, helping to preserve traditional weaving skills while supporting sustainable and ethical production. Each blanket is designed to be as beautiful as it is practical, with uplifting colours inspired by nature and our local surroundings. From cosy throws for the sofa to extra-long blankets for the bed, we believe in making homeware that lasts for years to come. I love these blankets, so much so that we have one in nearly every room in our house, on beds and sofas in a variety of colours. The quality is really good, and they arrive promptly in lovely packaging. Whenever I’ve had to return (if a colour or size hasn’t been quite right) I’ve never had a problem. Would highly recommend 😊

Gorgeous deep red blanket.
A gorgeous huge deep red blanket made my experience of British Blanket Company totally fantastic.
Superb quality wool, perfect for the end of my bed. Colour is perfect for the rooms decoration and bed linen.

Our blanket is lovely
Our blanket is lovely. We haven’t used it yet or the dog toy we are waiting for our kitchen to be finished. But I am very happy with both items and they came so quickly. Thank you.

Beautiful quality blanket
Beautiful quality blanket. Chose a waffle blanket to use as a throw on my sofa. First one was a little short ( my fault for not measuring) so use it on lounge chair & larger one on the sofa. Great quality & loads of choice. Arrived quickly & well packaged.

I bought the recycled ones, they are a bit smaller than I had hoped, prob my fault for not actually checking. Just right on a double bed but a bit small on a super king.
Random colours but all fit with most things.

I have returned my item that was £140…
I have returned my item that was £140 and haven’t got any updates and still not got a refund.However the quality of my blanket was lovely but just ordered the wrong colour just seen the reply and have still not been issued a refund.

I’ve got to stop buying your blankets. They’re so lovely and warm, I’m addicted. I particularly like the fact they’re British materials & workmanship. I’ve got four now and must stop! They arrive so quickly too.

Speedy delivery and beautifully packaged. I bought the Clarissa Hulse blanket in Moss and it is fabulous! Lovely soft texture and wonderfully warm.
