SCAM This company is the worst, do not buy from them. I’ve cancelled my subscription and they continue to charge me. I was suckered in by an influencer and now have to resort to issuing a dispute with my credit card company.
I wish I could give negative stars! This scam scheme catches you off guard by sending you more products that you didn’t choose after your initial start up pack. The next shipment notice is buried in an email and is supposedly shipped out that day and most definitely charged to your card that day. Then once they have your card info you’re going to be charged +$274 over a three month period. It took me several tries to find a phone number that I could call and cancel but I have to ship back the items which probably are over 3 pounds in weight. They are luring unsuspecting older women into an endless $100 monthly payment for useless products.
Scam. This company is nothing short of predatory to a vulnerable population. Do NOT give them your money—not even once.
I bought my mother a gift from here and apparently I signed up for a membership? There was absolutely zero indication that this was the case until I saw another $90 charge the following month. It was by no mistake that they likely bury this clause in the finest of print.
I immediately reported them to my credit card and spent 4+ hours trying to cancel the account via phone, web, and chat. They deliberately make it difficult so you give up but by the time I reached someone they said my account was already cancelled? Now I’m receiving emails saying I owe them $179 dollars, which is unequivocally false.
I consider myself pretty tech savvy so I can only imagine how the older generation these products are geared towards are being preyed upon. It’s more than just predatory marketing—it’s a full blown scam and it’s shameful.
DO NOT ORDER products from BODY FIRM. They engage in very deceptive business practices!!
I ordered from them in January with one of their promo specials … NEVER AGAIN!
I did not realize that purchase was deceptively setting me up for $270 worth of UNWANTED products and that they would bill me $90 for the next three months.
I also did not realize they were setting me up with a SUBSCRIPTION … and autoship for UNwanted products … and autopay via PayPal!!
There is NOTHING on the checkout page to indicate they were doing this!!
I’ve now been billed $90 on March 1 and April 1 and they plan to charge me again on May 1. Their customer service was MOST UNHELPFUL!
They will not facilitate return of the product and I am stuck with product.
Better to order their products through AMAZON and pay a little more so you don’t get taken by their scam and deceptive business practices!
While they're online doing business as Body Firm, they billed my credit card as Crepe Erase.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lure you in with 1 "good deal" and then they charge your credit card every month and secretly send you shipments of items you did not know about. They don't send you an e-mail about upcoming shipments and the only way you find out is when you get a notice from your credit card. They use a bottom basement shipping company (not UPS or FedEx) so you cannot refuse or return the package and have to pay to send the package (using tracking delivery because they often claim they didn't receive it and keep charging you) that you didn't know about or want back to them and then they don't refund the original shipping costs of this package. They changed the company name because of the reviews and class action lawsuit. I cannot believe Jane Seymour would put her face on this company.
This company changed its name from Crepe Erase. It is a scam. Customer service is nonexistent and the product does not work!
Updating my previous review, still the same bad service and bad products. My order finally got refunded- but it took a lot more phone calls( on hold for 45min)and emails. I had a return receipt from the post office confirming return delivery and sent them many copies- still no refund. Finally spoke to someone who said it had been at their facility for a month and not processed- instead they sent me invoices for double the amount claiming it was a partial payment for a 3 month supply ( absolute BUNK) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
