Founded in1948 as the ‘Trent Boating Association’ TBA have been providing support for boat owners throughout the East Midlands and the North East from Nottingham to Ripon and all of the intersecting waterways. Improving Navigation in the first instance and now with a broadening remit to include improving boaters facilities and attracting more boaters to the region to stimulate economic regeneration of the waterways. We actively engage with any vessel/skipper or crew that has an interest in voyaging from Nottingham to Ripon and further afield all of our committee have been elected on the basis that they have a wide variety of vessels and experience. TBA is a not for profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. We actively engage with everyone and organisations alike who welcome positive outcomes to improve the waterways network from Nottingham to Ripon.

The charts were very helpful
The charts were very helpful. I had trouble completing the payment, but TBA is very patient about that. Also, I found the Facebook page had great advice and information.

Great value tide tables
Great value tide tables that arrived very quickly, along with a nice sticker to promote the organisation, which I shall affix to my Narrowboat.
It would have been 5 stars, except the envelope arrived open and was re-sealed by Royal Mail - fortunately nothing missing

Tidal river charts for the Ouse and Trent
Looking forward to using my TBA charts - three comprehensive booklets covering the Trent and the Ouse. Definitely helping to ease my first-timer nerves having comprehensive documentation to cover the journey!
