The Beams played our wedding August 2024. From the very start, working with The Beams was great. Miguel was extremely prompt in replying to my messages, getting things like deposits, set lists, logistics, etc. in hand with minimal fuss - if you're planning a wedding you know this is gold! We opted for a five piece band, including saxafone and DJ. The Beams have an extremely extensive set list so we were easily able to select a few key numbers for the band. We also were able to send through a couple of DJ requests.

The Beams were absolute professionals. They arrived with plenty of time to spare, and they got themselves sorted and set up quickly and efficiently. Then they started playing, and they really got the party started. The music was super tight and the sound was so good. Everyone loved it! All our selected pieces were played and there was something for everyone.

When the band was done, we had opted to have the saxafone stay on with the DJ. Do this. This was amazing fun. The saxofonist left the bandstand and joined the dancefloor, continuing to play Careless Whisper (a last minute request on the night itself!). The final chapter of the night was the DJ set, which was full of classics, bops, and our requests. The Beams kept the party going and our guests dancing for over five hours. They are easy to recommend, and worth every penny!

Would highly recommend these lads. So professional and amazing at what they do. They have such a good energy. The dance floor was never empty, as a wedding planner that is so important. There was so much variety to their song selections, and made the guests so happy. The guests couldn't stop talking about them.

As an event planner, I have hired The Beams for a variety of events. They have been consistently professional, and each event has been a great success.

The Beams were a brilliant choice for our wedding band. Loads of our guests have asked us who they were, noting how great they were - everyone was up dancing and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. We also booked reception music with them - sax and piano - and they were super too! Communication, booking and set up on the day were all seamless. We couldn't recommend them more!

We were extremely lucky to have The Beams as our wedding band. From the first enquiry I made to them, right through the whole planning process, they were an absolute dream to deal with, so helpful and accommodating, nothing was ever too much and they always replied so promptly to any queries I had.

On the night, I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they set up, I hardly noticed they were there. We were really looking forward to their performance as we had received great recommendations from others and they actually exceeded our expectations. They are incredibly talented and so professional at what they do. They read the crowd perfectly which meant the dancefloor was packed for the night. Our friends and family are still talking about what a fantastic time they had and how the band made it a night to remember.
