Still haven't received item after weeks and weeks of being told item is about to ship
I ordered a ring at the end of Feb. It was expected to be finished and to arrive mid-March. It is now April 1 and the item still hasn't even shipped, yet alone arrived.
I understand there are sometimes delays, but this is a big delay and there has been ZERO communication from the company regarding it.
At this point, I have no idea if the item will arrive in time since I have no idea when it will actually ship, and even if it arrives, there's no time to follow up on any issues. If my item doesn't ship in the next few days I'm going to have to cancel the order. I don't want to because at this point I waited for a month, but what else can I do? They don't leave you with many options.

AoJ has responded to me so I'm replying back to them. To AoJ: As far as the customer is concerned, production delays and delays in sending out shipments are the company's responsibility and within your control.
While I appreciate the explanation of what happened, it unfortunately doesn't change my current problem which is:
- The ring is 2 weeks late from what I was promised as the fulfillment date when I put in the order, leading to pressure and stress because the ring was ordered for a specific event that is coming up. This time is also growing each day since the ring has not arrived yet.
- I still have no idea when my item will actually ship to me. You mention SF receiving the item and then they will ship it, but...when? I have been receiving responses from your team when I reach out that my item will "ship tomorrow" or "ship this week" for 2 weeks now. You can check my emails and chats with your Customer Service team. If what you said is true and the ring hadn't even arrived in SF to be shipped to me, why is your CS telling me opposite information?
- There's been no attempt by your company to compensate or relieve the inconvenience that was caused by the company.
I am leaving this review up until I receive an actual resolution to my problem.

I would like to provide an update on your order and explain our logistics process.
Typically, items are manufactured at our New York facility and then shipped to our San Francisco office for a final quality check before being sent to the customer. Your order was placed on March 1st, and with our standard 12-business-day turnaround, it was originally scheduled to ship on March 17th.
Unfortunately, our New York facility was closed for six days starting February 23rd due to severe weather, which created a production backlog. Your ring was completed on March 27th and shipped to San Francisco that same day.
The FedEx package containing your ring was delayed at their Memphis facility but was released yesterday for delivery today. Although a delivery attempt was noted, our team has been on-site since 8:30 AM PST to receive it. Dream Ring + Dream Price + Easy Process = One Happy Customer
This place was amazing - I was so stuck finding a ring I loved. I'd found two different rings I LIKED, but one was missing what the other wasn't (and vice versa). Basically I wanted a hybrid. Using this site I was able to provide one link, and one picture - then less than 2 days later I had a design that was SUPER close to how I was thinking. I just wrote a couple of tweaks I wanted, and in the next 2 days the tweaks were done and it was perfect! I just selected my ring size and ordered it in less than a week. It was surprisingly affordable - in all honesty the only downside was that it took a minute to ship, but after reaching out one of the representatives informed me it was due to storms in New York (which I couldn't blame them for). Another thing I love about it is that it's unique. Like, not only did I choose what I wanted but I'm also the only one in the world who has this design and it feels so special. I haven't needed replacing/any kind of service so far but the experience I had was incredible.

My experience was rather unique and a full showing of what level of professionalism this company operates with. Before that I will skip to what most want to know, the diamonds are true to their IGI ratings, they come as pictured when you design them and above all else extremely beautiful. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO DO THEIR RESEARCH ON WHAT CARAT SIZE AND SHAPE IS SUITABLE FOR THE BAND WIDTH OF THE SETTING. Back to my experience: I ordered an engagement ring for my fiancé 6 months in advance to be extra careful. It was a very detailed ask and well made ring which I was willing to wait for but when the original package came to me, someone working for FedEx opened the package and stole the ring out of the box before resealing it and sending me an empty one. I immediately filed a police report to have it on record, called FedEx and reached out to the company however it was past working hours on a Friday night. I sent a video of how the box came to me and how the inside had clearly been tampered with and the ring was missing to the customer support email that night and also called to leave a voicemail. The next morning on a Saturday I received a call in which they confirmed that they indeed sent the ring and were going to immediately escalate the situation to management. The day after that, Sunday morning I got an email from Tayler expressing that it was unfortunate that this happened and they opened a claim with FedEx and demanded an investigation. On top of that the immediately began work on getting me a replacement ring and remaking it for me free of charge. I finally got the replacement ring and it is the exact thing I was expecting to arrive the first time around, they were even able to get the same quality, shape, color, and cut of diamond so I was super happy to get it!

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!! And it's beautiful!
Got my Fiance's engagement ring here and it is STUNNING. I went for a lab grown 2 carat stone with a cathedral band. We just went out to some social gatherings and I could not BELIEVE how many people commented on it.
The ordering experience was great. And customer service was extremely quick to respond. Would definitely recommend working with them!

Worth the wait ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
I got the dilia setting in 14k yellow gold with platinum prongs with a 3 carat round stone and the winter 7 stone band (3/4) ctw also in 14k yellow gold. I ordered with my husband for an upgraded bridal set/ birthday present. The quality and sparkle is beyond words. The price is also hard to believe for the value !
I ordered during the valentines sale on 2/14 and got my order today. There were some delays due to the major blizzard we got in New England. Everyone I reached out to was kind and patient with my repeated “when is it coming “. They were kind enough to upgrade my shipping to help this arrive before my birthday. It made it in time.

I love my ring, customer service could be better
I love my ring! However I paid for engraving but it is so small I can’t see it.
I also had issues with shipping. I received no communication on delivery. Considering it requires a signature and the customer is unable to make changes to the date or address the company should have some interaction with the customer. I received an email with an ETA. I had to make changes to make sure someone could sign. I then get an update that it was going to arrive sooner than expected, I had to call ART OF JEWELs to change the delivery location, then got another update that I would be after. I called ART OF JEWELs back to change the address back to my house and was told I can only make 1 change. They refused to help me and were very rude.

Regarding the shipping experience, we truly regret that it felt frustrating. Because our packages contain high value jewelry, they are shipped with a required signature for security. As outlined in our posted terms and policies, once a shipment is processed and in the carrier’s system, address changes can sometimes be limited or restricted by the shipping provider. It is possible that by the time you contacted our team the shipment had already been locked in their system, which can unfortunately prevent us from making additional adjustments.

HIGHLY recommend AOJ
I saw a ring on the AOJ site that I loved, but wanted a few modifications, so I was encouraged to create a custom ring, and I’m so happy with the result! I was able to view and select my own diamond and discuss exactly what I wanted over the phone. Adi was very kind and helpful and gave great advice and suggestions. The CAD was sent to me and approved quickly. The only “hiccup” was a bit of a delay in creating my ring. There was a winter storm that shut down the facility for a week and this was right between the Christmas/New Years and Valentines rush. I’m not bothered at all by the delay, just would have appreciated better communication during the waiting period. However, the customer service was incredible. Every person I spoke with was very kind, helpful, and apologetic. Lindsey, Sara, and Taylor were all great to work with.
But, most importantly, when I received my custom engagement ring (an upgrade for me), I was blown away! I cannot stop looking at my hand. The sparkle is out of this world. They really listened to my requests and what I was hoping for- what elements were most important to me. The craftsmanship is top notch. I even took my ring to a local jeweler to have it inspected and was told how lovely it is. I truly could not love it more!! I’m so in love with my ring and I would recommend AOJ to anyone without hesitation. If you’re like me and doing research, skeptical of purchasing jewelry online, wondering who to go with and trust for such a big and important purchase, I am telling, from my own experience, you won’t regret working with The Art of Jewels.

When the ring arrived, the clarity and finish were remarkable. It is delicate yet sturdy, and I absolutely love it.

False Shipping Times, Lack of Communication
The customer service is awful. My order was supposed to ship in two weeks and it has now been four. There was no communication on the delay. I have reached out several times to be told it will ship next week. Would not recommend.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in delivering your order. Typically, our New York manufacturing facility completes orders within 12 business days.However, a recent severe storm in the East-Coast forced a six-day closure, resulting in significant delays. New York was shut down for a while.
We reopened last week and are currently working through the backlog. Your order is scheduled to ship on Tuesday, February 10th. To compensate for the inconvenience, we will ship it via overnight delivery and include a complimentary gift pendant.
