After waiting 3 years with monthly requests for updates, I got my 2 planters.
Both were Utter failures.
failed to hold moisture.
failed to sustain any form of life.
After raising MILLIONS on kickstarter - it seems they were more interested in continuing to scam more money from people rather than actually fixing their shonky product.
If I could give negative stars I would!

avoid ANYTHING from these people.
Their product is good for the rubbish bin. That's where mine ended up.
I got satisfaction from smashing it first.

I got four Tevaplanter Tiles. Two of them worked when I received them, and two did not. While trying to sort out that issue, the other two stopped working.

Email communications have been far and few in between, with them blaming the different batch releases for the slow progress, but it's now been over 3 months with no resolution, and I'm being ignored.

Would recommend never purchasing from Tevaplanter!

The water does not diffuse out of the sides and only leaks out the bottom. Customer service has been of no help.

It does not work!
I backed the Tevaplanter through Kickstarter and received my 5 tevaplanters after a long long time. But they do not work. There is some kind of coating on the inside, that prevents the water to seep into the clay. It does not even change colour when filled with water - not even on the inside. So no water seeping through to the outside - and therefore no plants beeing able to grow. Huge waste of money! And they are not cheep. So sad to back a project and believe in the idea and then get a defect product like that!

although the product I ordered was shown as available at the time of purchase, the delivery time ultimately took almost seven weeks.

Eu nu am stiut um sa folosesc agentul ajutator pentru stabilizarea semintelor si ca urmare inca nu mi-au incoltit semintele.
e nevoie de inmuierea lor si poate ar trebuii mai mult de 24 de ore... Ar ajuta explicatii suplimentare pentru un rezultatmai bun.

I backed the tevaplanter proyect in 2024 and have not received the product that sopposedly shipped in october 2025.
The company is not answering my mails.

Great experience

I agree with others that this feels like a scam. A large amount of money was raised, and similar products have been on the market for years, yet it has taken over four years without receiving my reward. After this experience, I will never support Kickstarter or similar platforms again.

I sent a picture of the broken top and base that was sent to me. The vase is fine but no one from your company has gotten back to me on what procedure has to be followed. I haven’t set up the planter but would like to.

It looks decent and it worked well for a while, albeit only tried Chia seeds up till that point. Now I tried some other seeds from the guide book and they just wouldn't take. It left me with a tevaplanter that is full of seeds everywhere, that have grown just enough to get firmly stuck in the grooves, but never beyond that point. I have tried scouring the internet for ways to clean the orifices of this thing but nothing had worked so far. I've removed what I can with a toothpick but even did doesn't seem to work entirely, as some root-system or other is still underneath it all in the walls of this thing. I have now given up entirely. It feels bad that you buy several of these as an early backer, then wait for actual years of delay to then receive a product that the owners don't seem to care enough about.

Don't buy!

I funded this on Kickstarter, I had really high hopes. Haven't used it for ages as didn't get round to it.

Have started using and it leaks all the time. It's terrible and subsequently, since they advertised it would be great for growing herbs you now can't grow any edible plants.

Going in the bin. Complete waste of money. Avoid

This planter does not work at all. I bought it as a kickstarter and it hasn’t once kept a plant alive, and after using my tap water in it it stopped letting water through to the point of plants during. It just oozes white and yellow and is moldy and gross constantly. I’ve tried cleaning it three times following supports instructions and only using distilled water as instructed now, and it still doesn’t work. All support is willing to do is offer me 20% off a new one, they refuse to replace it free as they should because I did nothing wrong. I would NOT buy this.

Don’t buy! Expierence with three tevaplanters was disastrous, the plants don’t thrive and the containers get covered in mold fast.
An order of two wall mounted tiles arrived AFTER TWO YEARS waiting time without any meaningful communications! This is not what you call a serious business.

STRONG RECOMMENDATION NOT TO BUY!

Quick delivery and great packaging . The planters looks amazing

Even though the products might look amazing, you can expect clearly a year or more for your purchase, and the worst part is that they don’t communicate with the clients or bakers of their projects unless if they want more money out of you due to additional shipping costs or wanting you to add more things to your order. You are left for months on end believing you have been scammed, having no clue why no one replies to any sort of communication or what is happening with the expensive order you’ve placed. Absolutely terrible experience. There is no beauty on the items that could possible compensate for Tevaplanter’s horrible way of working and non existing communication. An experience I strongly advise against.

VERY sad that they never fulfilled a backer's order when I funded the project in good faith :(

I don't receive the package yet even thought I ordered it 4 weeks ago.
I've been communicating with the customer support team for 3 weeks but nothing is resolved.
