My mum was recently placed here due to her health, and I have to say the experience so far has been extremely disappointing.
The level of customer service and communication has been shocking. Someone coming into a place like this should feel supported, respected, and cared for, especially when they are already dealing with health issues. Instead, my mum has been left feeling upset and frustrated by the way she has been spoken to and treated by some members of staff.
There have been situations where my mum has asked for something to be done or requested support, only to feel like she was ignored or refused help. This is incredibly frustrating because the whole purpose of a service like this should be to provide care and reassurance, not make someone feel like they are being a burden.
Staff working in these environments should understand that the people they are looking after are real people with feelings, worries, and needs. A little kindness, patience, and respect goes a long way.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because families trust places like this to look after their loved ones properly. The current level of service and attitude shown has been very disappointing, and improvements are clearly needed.
