Techugo was by far one of the worst professional experiences we have ever had. They sold us the promise of a dedicated team of 7 resources working on our project. In reality, it quickly became obvious that only one or two people were actually involved.
Progress was painfully slow, deadlines were constantly missed, and the quality of the deliverables was far below what had been promised. What was even more alarming was their inability to develop relatively simple business logic and formulas that any competent development team should have been able to handle without difficulty.
The sales pitch was impressive. The execution was a disaster.
We repeatedly had to explain basic concepts, review their work, and push for solutions that should have been straightforward for an experienced development company. Instead of relying on their expertise, we often felt like we were managing and teaching the team ourselves.
The lack of transparency regarding the actual resources assigned to the project was particularly disappointing. We paid for a team but never saw evidence that such a team existed.
Another thing that raised serious concerns for us was the credibility of many of the positive reviews. Looking through them, it often appeared that a significant number came from current or former employees rather than actual clients. Whether true or not, this creates a misleading impression for companies trying to evaluate the agency based on genuine customer experiences.
As a result, we lost valuable time, significant amounts of money, and several months of momentum for our startup. Choosing Techugo was one of the biggest mistakes we made during the development of Recrutium.
To any startup, entrepreneur, or company considering working with Techugo: stay away. Do not be fooled by the polished sales presentations and marketing claims. Verify everything, ask difficult questions, and demand proof of the resources and expertise they claim to provide.
There are many development agencies that are transparent, competent, and genuinely committed to their clients' success. Based on our experience, Techugo is not one of them.
Save your time. Save your money. Look elsewhere.
