Problems with refund
I liked my coach very much. He was awesome in his teaching methods. My complaint is with the business end. I was taking one class every week, with a one week break and before the month was up I got charged for another month because I accepted a free trial lesson. Read the fine print. Although it says you can cancel anytime, that only means you can cancel before the 28/days are up. They say you can use it within a years time, but that’s not good enough for me. Angry!

Teachme.To offers a platform to connect instructors and students efficiently and seamlessly. Customer service has been excellent. After going through the process with a client I’m kicking myself that I wasn’t an early adopter and that it took me so long to try it out. Would not trust them again
I had a really poor experience with TeachMeTo, both from a customer and a coach perspective. I used the service to connect with a golf coach, and even the coach told me they’d had a bad experience using the platform. Unfortunately, my experience as a customer wasn’t any better.
I saw no real value in the app itself, and the overall experience felt clunky and unnecessary. The biggest issue, though, was the billing. The service auto-renewed after 28 days. I had no intention of continuing and assumed, like most subscriptions, that it would be a normal monthly renewal with some flexibility. When I reached out, I was told there was nothing they could do—no refund, no accommodation—despite the fact that this was for a four-pack of lessons and I reached out the day this transaction was on.
For me, this wasn’t about the money as much as the principle. The response made it very clear that customer experience is not a priority here. It felt like the system is designed to trap people in renewals rather than actually serve students or coaches well.
Based on my experience, I would not trust TeachMe2 with your money. I don’t feel they have either their coaches’ or their customers’ best interests at heart, and I can’t recommend this service to anyone.

July 2025 for pickleball lessons for my wife.
In July 2025, after using the provided lessons, I contacted TeachMe.To support through the app and requested to place my subscription on hold until further notice. I received acknowledgment, and believed the account was paused indefinitely as requested, with no active billing expected.
Despite this, in January 2026, my credit card was charged again for a full subscription cycle without any prior notice, email alert, or confirmation that the hold had been lifted. I did not book or use any additional lessons, and the charge was unwanted and unauthorized based on my prior instructions.
This appears to be a recurring issue based on other BBB complaints and app store reviews, where users report surprise auto-charges after requesting pauses or cancellations. The app lacks clear visibility into subscription status, pause details, or easy cancellation options, leading to billing errors. Had to do a chargeback on my credit card for refund because they still refused. This company would do better if they didn't have to resort to scamming people.
Update (February 10, 2026): Response to TeachMe.To's public reply
Thank you for your response, but it does not fully address my concerns.
To clarify: In July 2025, after using the initial lessons, I explicitly requested via the app's support messaging to put the subscription "on hold until further notice" (indefinite hold, as we had no plans for more at that time). I did not receive any reply stating that this wasn't possible, that pauses require an end date, or that the account would auto-resume and charge without further notice or reminders. The app and communications lacked clear instructions on how indefinite holds work (or don't), contributing to the surprise January 2026 renewal charge despite no usage or re-activation from me.
I appreciate the offer for a correspondence transcript—please email it to me so I can verify the logs. In the interim, I still request a full refund of the unauthorized January charge and permanent cancellation to avoid future issues.
This experience highlights ongoing transparency problems with subscription management on the platform, as seen in other reviews. I hope TeachMe.To improves this for future users.

FRAUDS
FRAUDS! I would leave zero stars if allowed. "Hannah" called me when I messaged them for info and signed me up for a "free" lesson. All the messages are in the app and NEVER communicated this was a recurring monthly cost. Apparently they sent me a "text" outside of the app that informed me of a membership. I can't find this text. Absurd. So I've been getting charged monthly and NO ONE has reached out about trying to schedule lessons. The app is terrible and doesn't show you how many lessons you have paid for. Never been treated this poorly.

Our instructor was great BUT…
Our instructor was great! However, the company insisted I signed up for a subscription and charged my card again. I contacted them and they are unable to provide any documentation of a subscription. (We are in this area for a few weeks only. Would not have signed up for a subscription) We paid for and got 3 lessons. They are refusing to refund the unauthorized payment. I am going through my credit card company and will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. Beware!
