Most HORRID credit card customer service I have ever experienced!! It's almost impossible to talk to anyone. Their system keeps hanging up on you whenever I did get ahold of them for payment issues,... Se mer

I had a positive experience after a negativne one in a branch in the downtown Manhattan. Luckily I found an excellent review on the Internet about a bank representative Mr Juan Pena at 593 Third Ave branch, Manhattan and was pleasantly surprised about the difference of service - he was very profesional, helpful with the explanations, patient, knowledgable.. I thank him for all the help Gordana

On December 2nd I deposited a FEMA check from the hurricane that hit Daytona Beach that caused massive damage to my home I was told it would take about 6 days to clear it is now been over two weeks it hasn't cleared causing me more and more money because of the damage that I can't afford to fix the rain coming in my house is causing my ceilings to collapse and my floors to buckle up and every day it cost me more money to this day I received nothing out of an 18,000 check they told me I had a zero balance now I don't know what to do and I am in panic State I can't get any help from TD Bank they won't tell me anything of what's going on I spent all the cash I had I am penniles and homeless at this point. I hired contractors to do some work and a tree fell on the house it was 200 years old uprooted and I told the people I would pay them now I didn't pay them I didn't pay some of the contractors that help me and they're all raging at me I don't know what to say and I feel ashamed of what's going on here that they can actually keep the money be very careful of opening an account with TD Bank watch your back with them
I was irrate when I called customer…
I was irrate when I called customer service after they locked my debit card for fraud. I called and spoke with a customer service rep that said they couldn't unlock and had to issue a new card. I said that was not an option and furiously asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to Richard (from Maine). His calm, compassionate service was incredible! I asked him if I could praise him and he tried to connect me to his management team but I got a busy signal and wasn't able to give him the accolades he deserved.
Too bad zero stars is not an option
Too bad zero stars is not an option. Do not try TD Bank or you will be sorry. All good when everything works in terms of their systems/online/etc. work. Good luck if they don't. I am going to one of many other choices, dreaming that they are nowhere close to as much of a disater TD is.
TD BANK SUCKS!
Truly, by far, the worst customer service of any bank that I have ever ever dealt with the Franklin trust and savings that went bankrupt because of the scandal with the Vatican years ago, look like the place to be they still have my account frozen because of stupidity and importance for online security, but I have gone into the branch two times. I have provided them with everything to prove who I am and yet they still can’t undo what they have done. Please avoid TD Bank at all cost And find a real bank to deal with tomorrow. Will you be my last day because I’m going in there if I can’t get it resolved in 10 minutes then I will be withdrawing my money. I will not open up a CD which I was going to do and the only thing good about them is they’re very convenient, but if you can’t access your funds or do online banking just how convenient are they?
Do you like not having access to your money?
Do you like earning money and then not having access to it?
Are you a fan of getting your card turned off whenever you want to buy something that costs more than a pack of gum?
Is a fraud department that assumes every charge is fraudulent activity something that gets your gears turning? IF SO LOOK NO FURTHER.
TD Bank, Americas most "Convenient" Bank.
I would give 0 stars if possible
I would give 0 stars if possible! Terrible customer service & equally bad phone menu / wait times? I'm NEVER banking with this customer-unfriendly bank again! BANK ON IT!!
This company is nightmare material!!
I will start off by saying I have 100% on-time payment rating on my credit score. I financed 2 phones through Samsung All Goods which is affiliated with TD Bank. They never send ANY information as to who to make the payments to. I had to hunt them down so I missed a payment trying to do that which is fine. Then I just set up auto payments and was good to go. A couple months pass and again I noticed a late payment on my credit report. I called and asked what the issue was and was told the payment didn't go through. There was 50k in the account so I told the woman there was no possible way it would be denied. I said I would just pay for the phones in full to avoid the annoyance. She gave me an amount to pay and I paid it. Good to go you'd think. Nope I get ANOTHER hit on my credit report and don't even need to look to see who it is. Again I call and there's a forty something dollar balance. I ask why on earth I would pay 2k plus and leave a forty balance. They have no answer so I pay that balance to zero it out. NOPE!! Again the next month they hit my credit report another time and this time I have a whopping $4 balance!!! Obviously not thrilled I ask what would it cost to never have to do business or here from them ever again. The lady says $4 is the balance. I ask if that will zero the account and no more payments will have to be made. She's clearly confused so I ask to speak with a manager. The manager is also confused considering she gives me a different amount than the prior one. Finally I paid the $34 it was to zero the account!! That was over 2yrs ago. They still pop up on my credit report changing the payment history every 3 months even though the account is closed. Some brain dead baboons running this company. I would avoid at all costs!!
No fraud protection whatsoever
$600 was stolen from my account via fraudulent debit card purchases. I live in New York City. The purchases were made in Minnesota. The purchases were for kayaking equipment and yoga leggings. I live in New York City. I do not teleport to Minnesota for yoga and kayaking. I most certainly would not spend $600 on either. TD Bank has refused to refund the fraudulent charges because apparently they believe that I do teleport to Minnesota for kayaking and yoga. Do not use this Bank. They will let people steal from you. Blatantly and obviously.
Kanika is the person you want to get on the line
Kanika. I've probably misspelled her name, but what a lovely human! helpful, efficient, brilliant.
The best customer services I reserve for this company
I was in the problem one of your employers her name is flo she was nice and helpful i hope you give her a gift 🎁 of the best customer services for the month
worst banking experience ever
first time ever went to the US side to open accounts for my daughter who just started university in the NYC.
the branch office staffs were lacking basic courtesy and interpersonal skills - or it's just the New Yorker thing?
we opened a credit card and it arrived after over a month. yet it had started charging annual fee already. And then it was missing certain signed forms so it couldn't be linked to the online banking. speechless on the incompetence.
also the 'messaging' in online banking is trash. it took weeks to get useless response.
btw, the TD Canada Trust (Canadian side) has been good experience.
This is my 2nd Complaint/review here…
This is my 2nd Complaint/review here regarding the same problem I've had since Sep 19, 2024. Despite my emailing a Reg Mgr., a mgr & speaking to several people at the branch & the 800#, I still CANNOT GET TD BNK to close a sec credit card!! Even after I posted the 1st complaint on here & was contacted by corp cust svc & indicated to them that this acct still has not been closed, I was promised that it would be..Yet is has not been closed & to add insult to injury, they added a late pymt fee, an interest charge and another fee!! I am not going to be responsible for any due to the total MISMANAGEMENT of this acct. I CALLED the Reg Mgr David Lepri today & emailed him but he refuses to take my calls, nor responds to any of my emails. What it the world is going on with this incredibly poor bank!? I've already put it in writing that I wanted them to close it since sep 25! how many more times do I have to email or call!!!!!! DO YOUR JOB!! Izabellaflorida@ gmail com
ONE STAR BECAUSE YOU CAN"T GIVE ZERO!
ONE STAR BECAUSE YOU CAN"T GIVE ZERO!! I have repeatedly called retail credit card customer service line 800-252-2551 #0 to be put on hold for 48 minutes on 10/10/24., 55 minutes on 10/11/24 and 10/16/24 when they "open" at 9 AM after 50 minutes someone FINALLY picked up. I explained my situation, was put on another breif hold for representative to check into, and was then told situation was resolved. We will see when I receive my next statement. I am thankful they finally picked up but someone at TD Bank needs to take a hard look at what their customer service or more accurately, the lack of customer service is. As soon as possible I will be closing this retail account. Never again TD BANK.
Had to give 1 star because 1/2 or 0…
Had to give 1 star because 1/2 or 0 stars is not an option, but TD Bank is the WORST bank ever. Fraudulent charges are pending and all they can do is issue a new bank card. If and when the charges clear, they can be disputed. Good to know that others can use my card (fraudulently) and I can't do anything about it.
Worst bank ever!!!
Horrendous customer service
Had TD bank for years. While they used to be great, the customer service over the years has DRAMATICALLY declined.
I'm met with incompetency on 50% of my calls. One lady told me she couldn't cancel my card over the phone. I asked her to send a new one and she kept telling me to go in but I kept insisting she send one because I don't want to go waste an hour getting a new card. She finally agreed and then canceled my old card (something she just told me she couldn't do, she now did)
I just got off the phone with a man who made me go through, and im not kidding, literally ALL of my info to verify me. Even my phone and home phone numbers. Then he asked me if I downloaded the latest app, thinking it was related to my issued (which was a mysterious fee). He then asked if I like the app and to tell me about it. It was obvious here that he just wanted to get info about the app and not help with my issue. I said I don't want to talk about my app experience, I want help with this fee. He THEN tells me I did not pass my verification process. After all of that...
I also got signed up for the wrong accounts when I went into a TD branch.
They also ask what I do for a living and give me a hard time any time I try to take out small amounts of cash.
This is constant and I'm sick of it. I'm very close to switching banks. You seriously need to step up your customer service.
Pretending to Be Stupid
I had a TD Bank credit card for close to ten years. I moved several times over the course of those ten years. Because it was one of my least used cards, I never updated my original contact information. When the credit card site merged with the banking site, I tried to update it. The site would not let me. I was told the problem was my account was "too new" (the merged account was being treated like a brand new account) to alter my information. Almost one year later, trying to keep the card alive, I tried to update it again so I could make a purchase, and the site again refused to allow me to update it. I called customer service and the female agent talked to me like I was an idiot, telling me to just go to my local branch (the closest branch is a seven hour drive) and thought it was oppression for me to tell her that she is, in fact, wrong, and there is no local branch in my city; I would know, I live here. The branch finder on the actual site refuses to list any locations relevant to my zip code, when there are several in the state, because it knows that driving seven hours to visit a branch is simply not an option, especially to do something as simple as update my mailing address and phone number. Almost a full year of TD Bank pretending to be stupid at my expense. Lastly, when you call, there is no option for "other" or to speak to an agent directly, and the line doesn't recognize trigger words either, so just hit the first number and make them redirect you.
TD has insanely bad customer service
TD has insanely bad customer service. They have many different websites where you can log in (TD Bank, TD Online Banking, etc). Choose the wrong one and your name and password don't work. There are numbers to call, all automated recordings, and most are of no help. Seems impossible to talk to a live human,,,Maybe somehow if you're willing to slog through recordings and wait a while. Just crazy trying to activate a card. Once you get set, the card seems to act normally, but you're in deep doo-doo if you ever need customer service.
Been waiting 30 days for a debit card…
Been waiting 30 days for a debit card that they claimed I couldn’t get in store and claimed it was shipped back in August so I never funded my account again. (They didn’t forget to send letters for fee’s, what a joke) I’ll let them close it. Worst bank. They steal money. They lie. They are scammers.
TD is complete package of screw ups
TD is complete package of screw ups. I have had multiple accounts with them due to close proximity to my home and to this date I don't recall a single time that they get anything done right at the first attemp. Everything is a follow-up correction request. If you are lucky it gets done at the second try.
If you have an idle account they will shut-off the account access if you haven't used it over 6 months and you neeed to go to the branch each time to sort it out.
Alerts I have setup don't result in a message getting sent to me most times.
On the upside, they know what a screw0up they are and when you go over to complaint about things they are pretty fast to sort it out.
If I had a wider selection of near by banks, I wouldn't do business witht them.
