The material of the product was not at all what appeared to be advertised. Cheap fabric for top dollar. I thought I was buying a sweater and it was polyester. It is so unattractive....can't even give it away. The cost to ship it back to China will be as much as my refund. I have learned a hard lesson. Do not buy from this company; save your money. I will never buy from them again.

No stars at all! Don’t buy! The sizes are wrong and items description is misleading!
Return policy is practically not there because shipping to China is expensive and they require to pay for tacking! So you are just throwing out your money

Terrible customer service. Sent the wrong item& will not refund or send correct item. This store is a scam! Please avoid

I purchased a bag from Taylor Toronto. It was NOT AS ADVERTISED. They claim the products are genuine leather. It is not. Thr material is VERY thin and feels like vinyl/plastic. The parts are very poor quality (zippers, buckles), the lining is some terrible plastic feeling material that I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t rip within a month. I feel so deceived. I emailed customer service the day I received my package and it took 3 days for them to respond. They claim you can return your product, but the return address is in CHINA - and you must provide them with a tracking number - so returning the product will result in a negligible refund.

So I’m settling for 10% refund and hard lesson learned. I can’t even in good conscience gift this to a friend or family member. I’d be too embarrassed.

If I could give them less than one star I would. The bags that I bought were advertised as genuine, high quality leather. When I received them they were cheap plastic. False, fraudulent advertising/description. When I asked for a refund, they said that I would have to return by the same company as they sent by. Not available in Canada. To courier the return, it would have cost more than the bags cost me. I was forced to settle for a 10% refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Live and learn -- stay away from them. Also, makes it sound like they're in Canada - NOT! They're in China. I will also report this to Paypal.

Oh my!! I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Scam Scam Scam!! I order 3 sweaters for my family for Christmas. I would not put them on my dog. They are not at all like the pictures and are polyester with a blurry print on them. Just awful!! Yup I have been scammed. I have emailed them but after reading all these reviews I doubt that I will get anywhere with them. Do not buy anything posted on Facebook.

This company is employing fraudulent practices and misinformation to defraud honest and hardworking Canadians of their money. I have had the same experience noted by many here. On Sept 2 I ordered items based on an Instagram ad from Taylor-Toronto.
They have purported to be located in Toronto and is closing after 26 years due to retirement so they have slashed the prices of their products, especially the leather goods. Emily Taylor sent an email to me including this information as well when they received my order. On their site it clearly states "Free Shipping with Canada Post" almost reassuring you that they are located here. It does not appear to be the case. Evidence: They asked for me to return the received item to the Netherlands! I have asked for postage paid info. for Netherlands or for their Toronto return address as well ... let's see if they provide anything!
They are falsely stating that their items are leather.
This description is taken directly from their site "Upgrade your style game with our Adore Leather Bag – a fusion of sophistication and durability. Crafted with premium leather" and from what I received I can assure you it's untrue. I ordered 3 items Sept 2 and received 1 item so far. It is clearly not leather and not premium anything, cannot be stamped as a leather product and has a very, very strong chemical smell on the inside. I opened a case with PayPall when I did not receive any tracking information and suspected them to be perpetrating a scam; they promptly provided an email after the case opened and said they are a legitimate company. They made an offer of 50% the value of my order, which I declined because I am pursuing a full refund based on fraudulent practices, misleading location information and not receiving what I ordered and paid for. I don't want their faux products. Buyer Beware - fraud in progress and I expect that they will disappear soon or pop up under another name related to MEgroup (this is the name of the company communicating with me via PayPal), because things are heating up. I have created an audit trail of my full experience. Unseemly business practices at play here and should not be allowed. I recommend you stay away.

Update: I have escalated my case with PayPal. I also just phoned and informed PayPal about the purported fraudulent activities at this company and asked them to do something about it so that this company does not continue to use the PayPal platform to defraud others. I provided a link to Trustpilot and another blog so that they can see the complaints.
Update Sept 22: Paypal rendered a decision for my case, which is a full refund for the products I purchased. I returned the items by Canada Post today (inclusive of tracking) as this was the cheapest method. The tracking number is critical in order to get the refund from Paypal. To get the cheapest method to send a package, Paypal advised me to check ParcelMonkey.com and it helped me. Additionally, I have done a lot ($$$$) of business with PayPal over the past 8 years so they offered to offset my shipping cost in this case because this company is selling counterfeit leather goods and is on their platform. They are also doing a deeper investigation on the company itself. I told them that Taylor-Toronto, MEgroup should not be allowed to defraud Canadians and use the Paypal platform to do so. I found Paypal to be responsive to me and helpful. This case is not closed yet - until the items are delivered (around Oct 7), at which time I will get the full refund and the case will be closed. Once that happens, I fully intend to report this company to all of the credit card companies that Taylor-Toronto uses and provide them with all the documentation. It will be up to them after that if they continue to do business with fraudulent companies like Taylor-Toronto.

This is the same company as Avery Toronto, scam! Not Canadian, not a fault just a stupid Chinese company ripping us off!

This is such a scam! Picture shows a knit sweater. What I received is a photo of a Knit sweater on a cheap nylon material. Ugly as crap! And definitely NOT a knit product!

If i had only read the reviews before purchasing which i now regret. Doesnt come by canada post. Website uses jiayou as their carrier which is already a red flag its not from canada and when i received the bag its cheap, faux leather. I threw it in the trash when i received it. Waste of money and wish i still had my 59.95 in my pocket. Beware of other websites similar to this ad that appeared on facebook.

Ordered shoes. Wrong size was sent. To get a full refund I would have to pay more than the shoes cost me to ship them back to China. Very poor customer service....make it impossible to get any satisfaction.

This is a scam. Do not fall for it. The "leather" bags delivered were the cheapest vinyl plastic bags. They do not refund the 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy on their website. Try to get you to agree to 10%, which you would most likely never see.

When it look like it’s too good to be true, well usually it’s because it’s a scam… I received the bag I ordered that was suppose to be real leather. It was actually plastic vinyl. Cheap bag worth less than $10… I paid $60 for it, supposedly 50% off. There was no option to cancel. I don’t usually order anything online and I’m usually very aware of these scams but for some reason I end flaking for it. They don’t have no cancellation option, it’s a copy and paste website as I saw another add with same products with another name right after purchasing the product…
So I couldn’t cancel my order.

No return adress, no phone number or online contact. I never thought I’d say this but I got SCAMMED!!!

Do NOT buy from Taylor! Beware of poor business practices. They did not send me what I ordered, then told me it was up to me to pay to return it to China (the only place they have a warehouse). They have nothing in Toronto at all. I think they clear out old inventory with the hope customers won't pay the return shipping costs. They did not care at all that it was their error, not mine. Spend a little more and deal with a legit company and receive better quality items. Lesson learned! Emily Taylor writes friendly emails all the while not caring about her customers experiences! Shame on you Taylor!

The product is not like what was advertised - quality is below garbage. A total scam. If you had a lower than one star rating I would have used that. Taylor-Toronto is a scam operation. Buyer beware!

Product quality was poor at best. Colour and size were way off what was advertised. Product is not Canadian as believed, but comes from China, requiring huge added expense to return the shipment, in order to, hopefully, get a refund. Very disappointing!
