The taxi driver scammed me out of money. I was quoted 25.00 for a very short ride. The driver changed the quote from 25 to 40 dollars. I would not this driver or service to anyone.
This is indeed a lie.
I was picked up at Aloha bowling alley and taken directly to my hotel at 11am after a 10 hr tour. Where would I be going in the middle of the night with 2 senior citizens. Stop with the lies.

Dear Arti, the increase in price was due to the addition in rides. If it was indeed a single ride, it would have been €25. You told the driver however you wanted an extra ride, where you agreed to an increase of €15, which in fact should have been €25. Extreme Overcharging – Tourists Beware!
Review:
I recently contacted taxiamsterdamairport.com for a simple transfer from Schiphol Airport to the Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam (about 15 km). They quoted me an unbelievable €225 for a single ride.
On their own website, the same route is listed at around €75, and a comparable Uber ride costs only €35. Their explanation — “taxes, VAT and administrative fees” — was completely non-transparent and clearly unjustified.
I was travelling with a small dog in a transport box (the size of two suitcases), but that does not justify an additional €150 on top of the listed fare.
This strongly suggests price manipulation and the deliberate exploitation of tourists.
I did not take the ride because the pricing was obviously abusive, but I am writing this review to prevent other travelers from being misled or overcharged.
I strongly advise avoiding this service.

To clarify, your requirements were out of our “regular” services, such as the meet-n-greet and the dog carrier. We also told you that the price of €225 was the price for a roundtrip, not for a single ride. Either way, we provide competitive quotes based off each’sunique individual experience. As it’s a free market, it’s your right to choose or decline an offer - but writing up a negative and inaccurate review is just low.

Reliable Group Experience
Me and my group needed a van to transport 7 people and bring us back from an event. Heard from locals that “regular” taxi’s are unreliable, so I thought I’d book one online and have it on standby too. I’m glad I did, because the driver was so nice and offered to help outside of the rides too (with luggage and opening doors to the building). Highly recommend!
