I have entered my first quarter and had a good experience. When uncertain or any issues the customer support has been excellent and extremely fast. I've not used the download invoice or spreadsheet facility, but stuck to manual entry so far so cannot comment on those processes. The rest I shave found intuitive and relatively easy to get the hang of.

With the introduction of Making Tax Digital (MTD), I started looking for software from HMRC's list of approved providers. I came across TaxHeaven, which offers a free version, and decided to give it a try.
I found the app to be simple, intuitive and very easy to learn. The interface is clean and straightforward, making it easy to record and review income and expenses without the complexity of traditional accounting software.
As my wife and I own our landlord portfolio on a 50/50 basis, I opted for the paid version of TaxHeaven. One feature I particularly like is its ability to automatically split income and expense transactions between partners. This makes reviewing, managing and allocating our records much easier and saves a considerable amount of time.
The app links directly to our bank account and imports transactions automatically for review. Its AI-assisted categorisation also helps speed up the bookkeeping process, and it supports uploading Excel files, making it easy to import transactions where needed.
Any minor issues or queries I encountered were dealt with promptly by the company's CEO, Raunaq, who provided excellent support.
Initially, I was apprehensive about Making Tax Digital, but I have now completed my first quarterly MTD submission for both my UK and foreign property businesses. I found the whole process straightforward and much simpler than I had expected.
Overall, I have been very impressed with TaxHeaven. It is an easy-to-use, well-designed MTD solution that I would happily recommend to landlords and anyone looking for simple, straightforward software to manage their bookkeeping and MTD submissions.

I had a small issue and they fixed it manually. They make it super easy and are on hand to help- I use the free version but it’s still perfect

Raunaq and team have been more than kind and helpful. I’ve often been stuck trying to input info for MTD. I’ve asked what I thought were silly or idiotic questions. They have always replied kindly and with more length than they may think necessary. The result being that my panic disappears and I know precisely what to do. I then have a different problem the next time I try to use MTD and they reply in the same kind patient and courteous manner. They’re a joy to deal with and I’ve submitted my income and expenditure to the taxman on MTD for the first quarter! Hooray!!

A brilliant App easy to use and understand. Great support when I had a couple of queries, which were answered quickly and in a professional manner. Highly recommended!

I was really nervous about using a 'Making Tax Digital' software app.
Furthermore I'm an IT dinosaur.
I've just submitted my first quarterly income and expenses to HMRC. Tax Heaven was so straight forward to use. When I had a query I emailed Raunaq the CEO of Tax and Heaven and always received a swift and clear answer to my question which made my life so much easier. I'm really happy that I found Tax Heaven.

Raunaq has been so helpful. We were a little apprehensive of how we were going to manage our quarterly returns for the new MTD rules, when I came across Taxheaven on the HMRC website. We were looking to find a company offering a free to use portal, similar to one we already use for our quarterly VAT returns. With Taxheaven, and after a few emails backward and forward all queries answered quickly, we have now uploaded our first return to HMRC. Would certainly recommend to any small business finding themselves in a similar situation.

For satisfying a basic Tax filing requirement Tax Heaven met my expectations. Not always intuitive to follow but easy to get the hang of the process especially with prompt and helpful assistance from Raunaq at Tax Heaven

Wow - lots to choose from and difficult to know where to start. So I chose the one with bank imports and spreadsheet import and free.

Not all immediately obvious - but bloody hell - communication with the team was a doddle and all questions answered. needed to pay for the next level as- Best bit - I’m a property landlord and my wife owns 50% so she needs all the same records for her own return . Sorted - linked for small payment - dead easy - brill.

Going forward I’d like to do vat returns and vat invoicing for the one property that is vat registers. It’s coming

Tax is not taxing using Tax Heaven! Makes an unexciting task easier if you keep on top of your admin. Easy app to use and the updates and support from the team are superb.

Intuitive and user friendly for both very simple landlord business and more complex business. Glad I picked this software from the random long list on the HMRC site!
