Watch Out – Tavex Charges Less Than Advertised!
I went to the Tavex office in London to sell some of my gold bars. While I was inside, I checked the live prices on their website and expected to be paid that amount. However, the amount I actually received was £8 less than what the site showed.
This is misleading and feels unfair. Anyone selling gold here should always check the live website prices and confirm the exact payment before completing the sale, because the online prices may not match what you are actually paid.
I was disappointed that the advertised price did not reflect reality. Sellers, beware!

The gold price changes throughout the day, and the final amount is always based on the live rate at the exact moment of the transaction. At the time of your sale, our Precious Metal Consultant agreed the price with you and showed you the same live price online. When you returned later in the day, the market spot price had changed, which is why the amount differed from what you saw earlier and what you received.

Failed and asked for more time
Bought a month ago, paid.
Then random email from Tavex saying that the price was not correct so either pay extra or we cancel the order
They said they did incorrect price asked them to honour this and they would not budge not even goodwill gesture as they have delayed and failed to honour deal.
Very poor for a large and international company.
