I’m a beginner on the tattoo industry and I want to improve my art skill would anyone recommend this app

Great app with really interesting content! Can't wait to book an appointment when this madness is over!

Really confusing app, with so many buttons but any really works properly. Slow and very difficult to set up and delete your own profile.

Ex Beware of marketing ploys from Tattoodo. If they ask you to sign up to what you think is a good deal like: “free Pro Account for the rest of the year” make sure that when you wanna go back to a free account, cancel the subscription via a desktop. Cancelling via the Appstore doesn’t work, which Tattoodo forgot to add to the tactic they sent out as a newsletter. I didn’t know that you had to log in via a desktop to cancel it completely and I found out today after my bank statement showed Tattoodo £23.99 paid for until Feb 20th 2020 but do I have a Pro account now? Nope. I paid for absolutely nothing but they insist that I should’ve cancelled it via the desktop. Sneaky marketing tactics. Make sure you cancel a pro account via a desktop folks.

Update:
Refund has been issued, thank you. Please make it clear in future that people need to cancel their subscription via the desktop version of Tattoodo and not via the Appstore. Not all users are as tech savvy.

CONTESTS ?????!!!!!!!

Pretty cool app, I get to see tons of my favorite artists work and create my own page. The only things I'm not liking are 3 things. I try to put my photos in my portfolio, it won't allow me and just puts them in uploads. Also, when I do upload a photo, it doesn't let me adjust the picture to size to fit the whole tattoo in the frame so I can't use certain pictures. And finally, idk how to allow my work flow through all the feeds to people will see my work.

I spent over two years visiting and having long consultations with many tattoo establishments, with little or no success in them portraying the vision in my head.
With so many websites offering custom tattoos I thankfully came across TATTOODO! A godsend.
Such an informative and easy to use site who's communication has been exceptional, and with the reassurance of their money back guarantee if your needs are not met, you either get your money back or the tattoo you have been looking for.
The only issue I had was making my choice of the final winner! All the artist submissions were truly outstanding.

Bullsh*t app that won't even let me create an account or delete the one that I tried to make anyway. Waste of my time. Nothing loads and now I can probably never use it again.

Overwhelmed with the work artists put in, and how open they are to changes.
Usual artists get frustrated with changes in details. tattoodo made the experience of sketching fun.
Received different sketches everyday.

I had very specific requirements and this tattoo has allot of meaning to me, about my faith, my wife, and I wanted good detail and design. I went to local artist and they designed versions that did not come close to what I wanted, they sometimes want to be the creative artist instead of listening to what it is the customer wants,,, happened to me twice on this design.

I got artist the second day of the contest that were all-in and wanted to know what I liked and didn't like, sometimes in the middle of the night, it was awesome because they focused on every detail until we got a finished design.

Already thinking about the next one.

Great idea, it sure be nice if you guys had packages that included working with dedicated artist. Other than that, having various artist compteing is brilliant idea.

I enjoyed using tattoodo.com for getting design ideas for a cover up image. I was able to communicate the exact problem and measurements of the existing tattoo very well. The greatest benefit in using the service is the its possibility to reach designers with very different styles to make varying and innovative suggestions on my new tattoo.

However, I found reviewing the designs cumbersome as most designers submitted several designs and feedback could not be given for the designs individually. This led to misunderstandings on whether people should continue suggesting designs or not. In some cases, a more strict "please stop sending me ANY suggestions, I don't like your style" would have been required, yet it was not feasible to be that rude.

Also, the variety of the designers' skill levels was large, and I'd recommend developing a bit more precise merit based hierarchy for also the inexperienced designers. The gold-silver-bronze staging is not enough.

This will be my first tattoo. It was an excellent experience. The design commemorates a milestone in my life. Got 14 or so design proposals, including 2 that I really liked. The artists were very good about adjusting the designs to meet my needs and desires. I'm very pleased with the result and excited to move to the next step.

Easy to setup. Great designs from the artists. Easy to rate each submission and give feedback to get the tattoo I love. I'll definitely be using this service again.

Imagine this - tattoo artists. Even the real good ones. Have a full schedule. And the. They try to "fit you in". Rushing your design. And they might even get impatient with you or frustrated if they can't understand quite what you want.
With this site - you get artists that actually listen and take the time to make the necessary changes and adjustments that you're asking. Maybe not all of them. But when you have more than five people even competing to keep you happy and win the contest!! Your chances at getting what you want are just phenomenal!!
Also the staff that runs the site is great!! They work with you on any issues, questions or concerns you might have!!
I only wish I had thought of this first. Haha.

Reading other reviews and seeing other designs and going through the artists I was a bit disappointed with the lack of uptake and some feedback I got from designers.
I only had 4 designers and only 1 was from the beginning of the competition. I received an initial idea from one artist gave feedback and had no reply for the rest of the time period.
I would say the e-mail replies to my queries were answeredd really well and when I gave concern about the uptake of my competition the time was extended. However this was when one of the four artists entered a design.
I did take up a design which I like a lot and this artist really worked well with me in such a short time.
However through the lack of options was still disappointin.
I think if an artist comes late into the competition and your working with them then an extension should be automatic as it's hard with time differences to give replies and then obviously for the artists to then work on it and get back to you.
Overall some good work but need to put a reality check on the minimum of 10 artists will enter your competition....does this ever happen??!!!

What can I say? Over 30 submissions all with amazing feedback and artists. Super easy to understand rules and menus. The BEST customer service around. You just can't go wrong. If you want only the best in original artworks look no further. I'll be using this service for life.
