Our collaboration with Twist & Schwirm was highly disappointing. Below are the key issues:

Lack of delivery: Despite signing a 6-month contract at €2,500/month, almost no meaningful work was delivered in the first month. What little was provided did not meet the expectations that were clearly agreed upon at the start.

“Done-with-you” ≠ no responsibility: While the partnership was structured as a done-with-you model, that does not mean Twist & Schwirm could simply sit back and wait for input. We expected a proactive, guiding role — instead, their involvement was minimal and unstructured.

Poor communication: Our questions were frequently ignored or answered vaguely. There was no clear strategy, roadmap, or follow-up from their side. We had to chase them for updates.

Major Google Ads mistake: After terminating the collaboration, we had a new marketing professional review the setup. It turned out Google Ads were set to target worldwide instead of The Netherlands — a basic but critical oversight that shows a serious lack of attention and expertise.

Unacceptable delays: After we ended the agreement due to their non-performance, it took them over three weeks to reply — further proving the lack of professionalism and commitment.

Aggressive response to dispute: Despite offering a fair settlement of €1,000 for the minimal work done, Twist & Schwirm chose to escalate directly to a debt collection agency and demand the full €5,000 + fees, rather than having an open discussion.

Lost time and opportunity: Their inaction, mistakes, and lack of accountability caused significant delays, especially during a time when we urgently needed progress. This affected our ability to engage with other providers and move forward.

Bottom line: We strongly advise against working with Twist & Schwirm. Based on our experience, they are not reliable, not detail-oriented, and certainly not acting in the best interest of their clients. A done-with-you model still requires professionalism, ownership, and basic competence: none of which we received.

I started working with T&S to expand my brand into the German market. It was quite the ride and I underestimated how much you need to factor in when going such extreme steps. I was glad to have them and their experience by my side, I think it would not have worked out otherwise.

What I wasn't expecting is that they also help with optimizing my existing processes in my native market (UK)!

The additional cashflow that we generated in the UK by just doing some quick fixes is what enabled us to go full throttle abroad in Germany.

In for another year, rest of Europe is next!

Ich bin äußerst enttäuscht von der Firma Twist und Schirm. Die Erfahrung war von Anfang bis Ende katastrophal. Hier einige der größten Probleme:

1. Unkompetent und unorganisiert: Es war offensichtlich, dass das Team keine Ahnung von professioneller Abwicklung hat.

2. Fristen nicht eingehalten: Vereinbarte Deadlines wurden mehrfach verschoben, ohne dass man mich rechtzeitig informiert hat.

3. Abzocke und fragwürdiges Verhalten: Die Preise schienen willkürlich zu steigen, und man hatte das Gefühl, ständig vertröstet oder ausgenutzt zu werden.

4. Schlechter Kundenservice: Anfragen wurden ignoriert oder nur unzureichend beantwortet.

Ich kann diese Firma absolut nicht empfehlen. Wer Zuverlässigkeit und Professionalität sucht, sollte sich definitiv woanders umsehen.

leider habe ich keine gute Erfahrungen mit T&S gemacht. Ich musste die Zusammenarbeit beenden da die Sachen die im Vertrag drin stehen nicht eingehalten werden. Es werden vorher große Versprechen gemacht, aber nichts wird gehalten. Antworten auf Fragen werden wenn überhaupt erst nach Wochen gegeben. Bitte sucht euch eine andere Firma
