The course is well structured, has a lot of tests and the team is super helpful

The course was very detailed planned. Not sure if it's suitable for people who want to prep for GMAT on their own pace or in a tight schedule.

When I first started my GMAT prep, I was extremely overwhelmed. I explored question forums like GMAT Club for question banks to practice, which helped me get a sense of what to expect on the test, but it lacked the structure I needed to actually learn the fundamentals properly. I felt like I was shooting randomly and trying a bit of everything, with no clear direction of improvement.
Discovering Target Test Prep changed everything.
I started with the free trial and made the most of it, spending the entire day of each trial day fully studying and exploring the platform. I was immediately sold. Unlike the scattered approach I’d been taking, TTP provided real structure, organizing topics that had felt random into a coherent course. It rebuilt the fundamentals of math I’d forgotten since high school, established that basic toolkit, and then systematically expanded it to cover every type of question I could encounter on the GMAT.
That structured, building-block approach made all the difference. Instead of guessing what to study next, I always knew exactly where I stood and what came next in my preparation. I’d recommend Target Test Prep to anyone who feels lost or overwhelmed at the start of their GMAT journey and wants a clear, methodical path to improvement.

TargetTestPrep made studying for the GMAT easy. It is a comprehensive site with everything you can possibly need to achieve your target score. Instead of spending valuable time searching the internet for the proper resources, I could focus solely on preparing. I would highly recommend to anyone taking the GMAT, it’s definitely worth the investment.

I’ve been using Target Test Prep for about 4 months now and it’s been a genuinely useful part of my GMAT prep. For context, I’m an electrical engineering graduate and have been working a data and AI engineering role for the past year, so I came into the GMAT with a fairly quantitative background. Verbal and DI, in particular, were much newer territory for me.

One of the biggest things I’ve realized through the course is that knowing the underlying concepts isn’t always enough. There are specific strategies and ways of approaching GMAT questions that make a huge difference. In Verbal and DI especially, I found that without the right approach, you can either make mistakes on questions you technically understand or spend far too long on them. A lot of the course material is about developing that tactical mindset — knowing what to look for, when to move on, how to eliminate options, and how not to get emotionally attached to a difficult question. Honestly, even just having access to those approaches makes the course worthwhile for me, regardless of your academic or professional background.

I also really liked the strategy material outside the actual lessons. There’s a whole series of reads around things like managing time, staying calm, approaching questions rationally rather than emotionally, and setting yourself up mentally and physically for effective prep. Some of this sounds fairly basic initially, but I found it useful because the GMAT is as much about execution under pressure as it is about knowing concepts.

The course itself is very well structured. Lessons are organized into clear modules, with questions integrated into the progression, so you’re learning something and then immediately applying it. The flow feels curated rather than like you’re just working through a giant question bank.

There are also plenty of tests for each section, and some of the harder tests are genuinely beyond what I’ve seen as expected on the actual exam - making you less likely to be thrown off by something unfamiliar on test day.

The solutions are another strong point. All questions have detailed written explanations and most have a video explanation, and the latter can be particularly helpful when the important part is understanding the thought process rather than just seeing the correct answer.

The platform itself is clean, fast and easy to use. The scheduling feature is surprisingly practical — you can define when you’re available to study and which days you aren’t, and build your prep around that. There’s also an AI feature that can generate additional questions based on questions already in the course, which is useful when you want extra practice around a particular concept or question type.

One criticism I’d have is that there’s almost too much material. It can be easy to look at everything available and feel like you need to complete all of it, when realistically you probably shouldn’t. You have to be a little selective depending on your timeline.

I also think TTP can look expensive when you compare the price directly with some other GMAT options. But after using it for 4 months, I don’t really think it’s comparable to buying a question bank or a few prep books. You’re paying for a curated course, structured lessons, strategy, practice, tests, solutions, scheduling and additional tools all in one place. For me, that “complete guide” aspect has been more valuable than simply having access to a large number of questions.

Overall, the biggest benefit for me has been that it’s made my preparation much more systematic. Coming from an engineering/data background, I knew I could handle the quantitative side, but TTP helped me understand that getting a good GMAT score is also about having a repeatable way of thinking through unfamiliar questions under time pressure.

I had a great experience with TTP - the course is structured and easy to follow. Ensure you leave enough time to get through all of the content based on your baseline level.

I have been dealing with my mental depression and the pressure of the GRE preparation. From day one, TTP had my back. They are so rich and in content as such even if you are a beginner and aiming for high score, this platform is for you. Not to mention, the backhand support we get from Scott, amazing to say the least. I wish them all the luck.

The whole prep course is laid out in a way where can work on the things you need more help with, and relax a little on the others. I found TPP very helpful and will be coming back to it next summer to pick back up studying.

TTP just gives you everything you need for your GMAT prep. In the beginning, I thought it couldn't be that hard, I could just do it by myself and get a few prep books. However, after investing a lot of time, I wasn't where I wanted to be, so I decided to try out TTP. When I started my first few lessons, I knew I had to get the subscription. The course covers all the content thoroughly, gives you, in my opinion, the most effective strategies and approaches, and builds your knowledge (especially if quant is your weak spot). If I could start my GMAT prep again, this time I would use TTP right from the beginning because it would've had made my prep a lot easier and more structured. I definitely recommend.

I came to Target Test Prep after previously working with an expensive tutor and taking the GMAT twice without getting close to the score I wanted.

For me, TTP's Self-Study course was significantly more efficient. The platform gives you a very clear structure, but still lets you move at your own pace. Every topic is backed up by a huge bank of high-quality practice questions, with detailed written and video explanations when you need to understand something more deeply.

It also helped me enormously with timing and pacing, which had been one of my biggest weaknesses.

The flexibility mattered a lot because I was working 12–16 hour days at the time. I could study at home, in the office, on the subway, or on a plane, while having my plan, progress, and next steps tracked in one place. That removed a lot of unnecessary logistical effort and let me focus on actually improving.

I ultimately scored 695 on the GMAT. TTP wasn't a shortcut — I still had to put in the hours — but it made those hours much more productive. I've already recommended it to friends and former colleagues preparing for the GMAT.
